I was af I came in two Saturdays ago to look for a fwd. I found a Jeep Patriot I fell i LOVE with! The employees were very welcoming and professional. I was afraid I would not be able to trade my previous car in because of the millage (203k)!! They had no problem accepting my trade in! I did have to wait for the car to be detailed, however I did have an awesome experience! I would definitely recommend them! Thank you Royston! More
Misrepresentation-false advertisement- My experience with Royston and their employees has never been a good experience. I have even had discussions with the owner but apparently his staff a My experience with Royston and their employees has never been a good experience. I have even had discussions with the owner but apparently his staff are trained to represent his agency in an unprofessional way., They advertised their vehicle on the Internet at one price and with a certain amount of miles and the car had over the amount of miles say over 2000 and the price they quoted me initially was say over 4,000 the advertised price. The young person who waited on me was surprised I knew the Internet quoted price (he was not aware) and he went back to get approval for another price he came back and said I could have the car for the advertised price with no trade. Ha!! Ha!! You guys are so full of yourselves that you you think everyone is stupid. Also, I had the flyer in hand that stated they would trade at 120 percent KBB and they refused to honor their advertisement. I will be contacting the BBB because like I said it not my first go around with them. Just thought a different location would be ran better. I have bought a jeep for my daughter and bought all the extras for it and she took it in and was treated very unprofessional and while I was waiting to speak to the owner I got to observe some very inappropriate actions/ conversations by the staff. They did not know who they were talking in front of. My opinion their loss- I have a choice!!!!! More
Ridiculous Awful! I went to look at a new Jeep. The guy we talked to about the jeep asked if I wanted to test drive the vehicle and I told him no because it was Awful! I went to look at a new Jeep. The guy we talked to about the jeep asked if I wanted to test drive the vehicle and I told him no because it was pouring down rain, I just wanted to look inside. He probably asked me 10 times if I wanted to drive it and each time I said no. We went inside to talk about numbers and he asked for my car keys so he could go look at my car to see how much I could get for it. He came back in the registration, which means he went thru my car to find the paper in my glovebox, without asking! When everything was done we went to leave and I walked back out to my car, and found that it was not where my mom had parked it. He had driven it around to the side of the building without telling us where he parked it, did not even mention he had driven it at all. Once I got in my car I also noticed he had moved my steering wheel and moved my seat, which there was absolutely no need in him doing that since he moved it 20 feet! He was way too pushy and I was not pleased with him at all. More

Folks were terribly rude, some were very inexperienced, made agreements they did not keep (intentionally), & overpriced....the old bait & switch....watch out....these folks care nothing about repeat customers- they are simply not looking that far into the future- only to make a quick sale now. there is no aftercare whatsoever. Lesson learned....there are far too many dealerships that will appreciate your business to be taken by these guys & if you do decide to do business w/them- better watch them very closely- from the bottom all the way up....& read your sales agreement very carefully....good luck! Is there any honest dealerships anymore I received a flyer in the mail about a sale for Royston Chevrolet. I was interested in a used Impala that had great mileage and it seemed to me a good I received a flyer in the mail about a sale for Royston Chevrolet. I was interested in a used Impala that had great mileage and it seemed to me a good price. I emailed the dealership and had a few questions before I made the trip. I asked to verify 3 things for me. 1. Could I use the down payment assistance voucher, 2. Could I use the 120% over KBB offer, and 3. Could I use the 0% financing. I told them the reason I am asking this is because I have been told this before by another dealership and when I showed up they didn't honor anything they promised. I know that at some dealers these type of deals are meant for New car purchases hince the reason I emailed to verify. I was told in the email that I could not use the down payment assistance voucher because the discount was already applied to the price( which makes no sense, what if I didn't need the voucher and just wanted to purchase the car out write, would they add on to the price for this) anyway, I was fine with that. Then they told me that they would do the 120% of KBB value as long as the car was in great shape and didn't have a lot of miles on it , and that I could use the 0% financing since the car was practically brand new with so little miles and only 1 year old. So, I made an appointment and went down to get a deal done. I already pulled the FAIR market value on my trade in because that's what they usually go on. I test drove the car and liked it, they drove my car and said it was in excellent shape and had great mileage( 44000). So they pulled my credit and saw I had a 720 score so everything should go great right? WRONG, Of course they came back with a payment the size of a mortgage. All car dealers usually do so I wasn't too surprised by this. I then told them I couldn't afford that and was wanting some insight on why it was so high. The finance guy came by and talked me thru the numbers. They didn't give me 120% of KBB like they said they would. They even said my car was in almost brand new shape with great miles and I had all service records since I bought it new. I told them what the Fair market value was and what it should be with the 120% but of course they tried to explain that away. Then I asked about the 0% financing and they said they couldn't do that on used cars. I had the email on my phone showing that they did indeed say I could use 0% on the used car that I had picked out but of course they said they believed me and didn't need to see it but still wouldn't do the 0%. I finally just said forget about it and left. If they would have just told me up front that I couldn't use any of the specials offers they had I would have been fine with that. But to lie to my face or email just to get me in the door was very unprofessional and the reason a lot of dealerships get a bad rap and why a lot of people hate buying a car. I have been done this way before and have never done business with them again. The same will apply with this dealership. Im sure some of you will have good luck with Royston but as for me and anyone who asks me I will say take your business somewhere else if you can even find a dealership that can be honest. I know this was a little drawn out but I wanted to give all the details because im sure someone will come back and say that I didn't tell all the facts and that im stretching the truth but what I wrote is exactly what happened, ( I still have the email exchanges). But if you choose not to believe me, that's fine, just beware. More
This dealership is amazing! They work with you to get the car you want, not to just get rid of a car they have. They see you as a person, not just dollar signs. I would definitely recommend this dealership t car you want, not to just get rid of a car they have. They see you as a person, not just dollar signs. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep. They far exceeded my expectations! More
. I bought a new Challenger from Royston on April 20, 2012 and was very pleased with the deal I received when I purchased it. I have been referring all of my friends and family to the Rogersville dealers 2012 and was very pleased with the deal I received when I purchased it. I have been referring all of my friends and family to the Rogersville dealership for their auto purchases. There is no comparison to the level of commitment to customer satisfaction that they have in their team in Rogersville. Everyone at the Rogersville dealership makes you feel at home. My salesman in April was Tom Severt. I have never bought a vehicle before without the high pressure sales pitches; but I was impressed with Tom’s way of handling my deal. Also; as with any purchase; the finance department can be the most stressful part of buying. I want you to know that I was extremely impressed with Hobart Rice and his commitment to customer satisfaction. He went the extra mile and then some to get me the best interest rate and financing. I know I will miss working with him on my next purchase. Recently; I brought my new Challenger in for it’s first scheduled service. While waiting; I decided to look at the SRT Challenger and was impressed with it’s performance and styling. I was extremely impressed with my new salesman Dan Buckner. He and I are still corresponding on working a deal on the SRT. Dan has definitely gone the extra mile to ensure that I am happy with any and all purchases or dealings with the Royston of Rogersville family. In regards to family; that is how everyone at Royston of Rogersville makes you feel; like family. I look forward to many more years of doing business with them and appreciate everything they have done so far. I will continue to refer everyone I know who is looking to purchase a new or used truck or car to Royston of Rogersville for al of their needs. More
