Went in today to purchase a new gas 2500 Ram truck. Did my research, built my truck to MY specs, when I went to lot some young female (not gender bias) came out and when I told her what I wanted she just k my research, built my truck to MY specs, when I went to lot some young female (not gender bias) came out and when I told her what I wanted she just kept trying to point me to the 1500. When I explained what I wanted she kept asking "why" and "apparently you don't know . . . " When I stated "I am the customer I decide what I want not you" she said let me get someone else to work with you. I told her I was 53 years old and had bought about 20 new cars in my life. Suggested that when a customer comes in with researched outcome her job is to facilitate his/her needs, NOT TO SELL what the sales manager needs moved. As an Organizational Psychologist who is also a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt I would like to think I have a little knowledge on customer service and "voice of the customer." Would never suggest this dealership for anything except learning that the customer decides value and their job is to facilitate the customers requirements. More
Had purchased a new Siverado 2500 Duramax classic in 2007 under a different dealership but at the same location. This month I noticed a clunking sound in my steering assembly. The truck has only been driven under a different dealership but at the same location. This month I noticed a clunking sound in my steering assembly. The truck has only been driven 17,500 miles. Truck was past its 5 year warranty and well past its 3 year warranty. The Kendall dealership diagnosed the problem and changed the steering and intermediate shaft and support bearing under a one time warranty agreement. There was no charge to me. The customer service person I dealt with was friendly. I had asked if they would cut me a deal because of the low mileage and with no further discussion they incurred all the costs. This is the dealership I'll go back to when I'm looking to purchase another vehicle. More
This was a pleasant experience in the purchase of my toyota tacoma. Janae Lavendusky tried every avenue to get me into this vehicle. The first time I went shopping for my car I picked out one and got the ball rolling. They were kind enough to do a check on the car and it wasn't road safe so they didn't sell it to me, which was awesome one and got the ball rolling. The second time I came in looking for a car I was greeted with a smile from Amber, and she gave me tons of insight about what kind of car would last a long time and would be very dependable. Kiel was great too, he made sure I got the lowest rate and was very clear on all of the details I was signing in to. Overall, my second car buying experience was great. No gray areas to worry about, and I know that if anything ever happens I can always call to get things figured out. More
I was very pleased with the ease and professionalism of both of the people I dealt with in my used vehicle purchase. Being a state institution has it drawbacks at times... ie, it takes a long time to get both of the people I dealt with in my used vehicle purchase. I had some special funding requirements that required working with the VA. Kendall was very patience and went the extra mile since the VA is not the easiest organization to work with. My reason for buying at Kendall Chevrolet was based on a friendly call from John. I own a fleet of service vehicles. I stopped by that afternoon, looked at the vehicle which was in the service department being ran thru the full inspection process. John and I went in to see Bill. We worked out a price that was more than fair, I signed the appropriate paper work and left with another service van. I am very happy with their quick friendly service. Thanks again fellows. Buying this 2012 dodge was 100% better than when we bought the 2010. Working with Dave, Adam and Kiel was so much better. I know that something must have been said cause even the guy in service spoke t bought the 2010. Working with Dave, Adam and Kiel was so much better.
