We went to this dealer ship and Doug was waiting for us outside the door. We contacted him before via internet. I had in mind that I want a Camry with backup camera and leather. We decided the get the convenience package and the leather package. We did not have much trouble of getting a price that we had in mind too. I did some research on truecar.com and edmunds.com. More

Went to purchase my first car and looked at 8-9 different makers and dealerships. This was the only one where it didn't feel like they were trying to get me to walk off the dealership that day with a new car makers and dealerships. I was concerned about price, safety, and reliability. After looking around for about 5 minutes, salesman Rick Jones came out to see if I needed any help. He was great. I had seen a large number of salespeople at the other car dealerships and Rick was the only one that I felt really listened to what I was interested in and did not try to up sell me into a car I did not want to purchase. I like doing research and having all the numbers laid out to compare. I visited the dealership 3 separate times before making a decision, and Rick was helpful each time. He even printed out all the numbers for different options and made it clear what each fee was and how they worked toward the final number. I ended up getting the 2013 Camry. Then after the purchase, Rick did a full walk around the car and went step by step on how to use the tech features,, and how to sync the phone with the Bluetooth. I've owed the car for about 4 months now, and the support after the purchase has been good too. They even have a new owner event where they tell you about services included with the purchase and answer any questions you have about the vehicle now that you've owned it for a little while. I am very happy with my overall experience with them. If you are looking at many different car options like I was, check them out and make sure to see Rick. On Saturday 7/6 I bought the last Scion IQ that Rodland had on the lot. I just wanted to drive it and think about it when I came in and 30 minutes later my hands itched to write a check for the amount not had on the lot. That ends the extremely irritating games of "what do you *think it's worth?" and "how much would you pay to get your hands on it if we keep stalling you?" which may be played at other agencies. I've had my little more-than-a-toy guy for less than a week and I'm crazy in love with the car. It FITS me! It really fits me! I've room enough for my easel and a three legged stool,my sketchbooks, watercolor paper books, my water brushes, palletes of tube color for plein air painting, a nice cooler, the park pass, baskets with cotton shopping bags for errands, CDs and even my laptop, the kindle, a few books, and even a backseat passenger. As soon as the clear coat has finished curing, we're taking the little guy camping at one of the state parks. This car was made ready to come home with me in a few hours and the work was excellent. The mechanical staff did a fast and efficient job of assessing my previous car for trade-in value. John Yi made sure Cyd and I were comfortable, answered every question either of us had for him about the car, about Rodland, about Toyota-Care and the additional warrantee plans available, and though the agency is under "refurbishment" and redecoration at the time, **everyone there made sure we knew where we were going, where it was good to be walking, where it wasn't so advisable. Cyd is my best friend and a current Toyota owner and she reminded me how much I had wanted a used Scion 4 years ago when I bought my previous car, but none of the model I lusted after were for sale...and I had to have new wheels as both my late husband's car and mine had died. I never liked the car I bought, but I didn't abuse the machine. I just never drove it. I drove as little as possible.. It guzzled fuel, it was too big. It felt clumsy... safe but clumsy. The IQ is tiny, but it has good highway zip, good breaking, good low center of gravity, great tiny turning radius, I was stunned to see the sound system in this little baby is a Pioneer, and it's better than the sound system in my house, not to mention my previous car. John didn't push me to buy, but when I said I wanted the car, he *really delivered! Rodland stands behind its sales staff and if something can be done for a customer, Rodland's departments are going to make it happen! Jason clearly had a very detailed knowledge of this specific vehicle as well as other Toyota models which he used as a comparison. The purchasing process flowed quite smoothly with Roger being very quick and responsive in providing a useful quote for the desired vehicle, Jason excelled in demonstrating the features of the desired vehicle, and Tom was very clear and straightforward in explaining the financial side of this purchase. Prior to arriving at this dealership, I had dreaded this purchase of a vehicle based on my experiences in prior years with other car dealerships. However, my mind was quickly placed at ease by Roger's friendly spirit and his willingness to take the initiative to meet me in person at the parking lot when I initially arrived and then to introduce me to Jason. There were no high pressure tactics. Jason's approach, which my wife and I appreciated, was to let the vehicle sell itself based on its quality and features. Tom was also low-keyed in describing the various financial options which I similarly appreciated. I definitely recommend Roger, Jason, and Tom as individuals who provide a non-threatening and non-aggressive environment for purchasing a new vehicle. More
