Roderick F. Baker Jr. “Rod” and Olga Baker opened Rod Baker Ford on September 30, 1963. Both of their hearts were devoted to family, friends, community and the dealership; including their many customers.
The Baker Family prides themselves on having such long-lasting family legacy with selling and servicing Ford vehicles and being a part of the Plainfield community. In 2013 they were honored with Ford’s 50th Anniversary plaque marking their longevity and dedication to the business.
Though Rod and Olga have both passed, their son Rick, and grandchildren, Ricky and Christina are still carrying on their family’s pride and tradition in the store and continue to stand behind the “Home of the No Hassle Deal!”

Had a terrible experience here with a salesman named Joe. We went in to test drive the Mustang Mach E. The test drive was very short - basically the equivalent of once around the block. Every time I took my foot of the accelerator, the car immediately slowed to a complete stop. Joe said "That's the way all electrics work." I know that's not true, because I've driven several of them. As it turns out, that is a feature called "One Pedal Driving"; I also learned that it could be turned off. Obviously, the salesman didn't know that and acted like I didn't know what I was talking about. What a complete jerk. Avoid this place like the plague. More

I purchased 2016 Ford Fusion from this dealership and I did everything I was supposed to do to take care of the vehicle. i did not know that there is a techincal service bulletin for fusions saying that en did everything I was supposed to do to take care of the vehicle. i did not know that there is a techincal service bulletin for fusions saying that engine blocks are likely to crack and 2 years later the engine block needs to be replaced and I'm stuck paying a car note for a car that doesn't even work. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP More
