I was told i was not approved @ like 3 dealers due to SANTANDER a long while ago. Thanks guys! But now, i hear Santander lost a big lawsuit due to illegal practices on those buying a car here in NC to CALI 33 states additionally. I am happy! I took a chance, at NC Rocky Mount Toyota. I was told easy approval is "true." Great salesmen/saleswomen and it proved so far to be true! I was told this holiday weekend, I'm approved, after turned down by a couple to a few others, due to SANTANDER, but the repossession is 4 yrs.old. I was making timely payments too for 1 or 2 long years. SANTANDER are crooked." Rocky Mount,NC Toyota are not. (Well, not to us anyhow)so we are glad for the NEW YEAR, ending a horrid 2020 for so many reasons, for so many, to hear we are approved for a brand new car and knowing i can make the easy payment per month,(no mortgage/no rent as of right now)and 1 credit card only, i am able to afford pymt. with 2 jobs, doing well saving up, cleaning up credit is mi MAIN focus 2021. and the car will help me as 1 credit card i have. I will smile walking into RMT MID JANUARY.through end of the month January. I am again NOT PRE-APPROVED, the guy helping me put in an email, "I am approved." He was trying for me for just about 4 to 6 days. - I am glad he tried. Now, i am approved,and learned it's good for at least THIRTY DAYS. i am buying it, going to the dealer to get my car mid JANUARY new year's, around the 13th. Good luck to all. I had 2 associates buy theirs here too. so far, so good for them over 1 to 3 yrs or so,all are happy with this dealer,and i am happy it will be ROCKY MOUNT TOYOTA helping me, smile at the end of the day, waking up going to work, on road trips at times, to be able to smile, knowing they were and are willing to give me a REAL chance at paying on mi new car, and get back on track with re-building mi credit, with my brand new car! No fret over breaking down, etc., just a new car, NEW year. NEW LIFE, HEALTHY HAPPY FOCUS good life and re-building my credit month to month will help do that, the next 3 long months of WINTER, and beyond. Thanks R.M.T. adios. ' More

HORRIBLE RUTHLESS DEALERSHIP 0/5 STARS Just a warning to everyone considering buying from his dealership. Last Sunday we saw a used car offered on Rocky Mount Toyota’s website f 0/5 STARS Just a warning to everyone considering buying from his dealership. Last Sunday we saw a used car offered on Rocky Mount Toyota’s website for sale. An email was sent that day to express interest and wanting to pan to see the car on Monday. Monday morning the dealership was contacted again expressing our interest and we started working with a salesman, Tre. (Not the mgr) We work in the Raleigh area and had to make arrangements for both of us to get off work early to go over to see the car. While my husband was driving to pick me up, he receives a text, not even a phone call, that the car was SOLD!. We were furious. I spoke to the general manager, Tre Turner, and he was an arrogant, condescending, and callous individual. His only comment was “ good so you were contacted that we sold the car”. No apology of course. He was very defensive of their position and said that it states clearly on their website that cars are sold on a first come first serve basis. He also stated that 80% of the people no-show when they say they’re coming to see a car. I was offended. We had been communicating with them all day expressing our interest in this vehicle and in no way lead them to believe we were hesitant or indecisive about this car. The only deal-breaker of the purchase would have been if they misrepresented the product in the online description and it was not the quality and condition as indicated online. This is nothing but a display of greed to it’s highest level. There is no reason to conduct business in such a hard, shrewd manner. If this dealership is going to offer the internet as a means of communication, then we were the “FIRST to come”. (FYI-we did offer a Credit card over the phone and they refused). So bottom line, it’s all about the money, not the customer at Rocky Mount Toyota. I doubt 80% of the people no show, and we should all be offended that the General Manager’s perspective is so negative of our region’s population. If you walk in with money, sure they’ll be your best friend. WE HAVE MANY OPTIONS HERE TO PURCHASE A VEHICLE. AND FOR YOU FOLKS THAT LIVE IN ROCKY MOUNT - YOU NEED TO MAKE A TRIP OVER TO OUR RALEIGH DEALERSHIPS BEFORE YOU CONSIDER BUYING FROM ROCKY MOUNT TOYOTA. We actually found the same car, 2 years newer, for $2400 less at JAGUAR RALEIGH. Thank you Jaguar Raleigh! They even waited until we got off work on Thursday to come up and see the car. WOW! What a concept, be accommodating to the customer. Additionally, if you view my review on google, the General Manager, Tre Turner, personally has responded with a rather lengthy statement trying to support their unacceptable customer service at Rocky Mount Toyota. He tried saying we were inquiring about multiple cars and they were trying to arrange test drives making us sound indecisive. Well this is so misrepresented on their part. First of all, the 2 emails were mine any my husbands and they did I not have a chance to respond to any of our requests because we called them when they opened. On the initial call that my husband made and spoke to the salesman, Tre, 5 cars were inquired about only. Within 30 seconds, 3 of the 5 cars were excluded because they were in South Carolina! He failed to mention this in his misleading, snide response. So the only 2 cars that were momentarily discussed were the Lexus and Corolla . Within 1 min we were only discussing the Lexus and the Corolla was even excluded. So there again, this dealership will twist every bit of information around to make it sound like we were the incompetent ones. Business is all about them, not the customer. ***** If I can keep just one individual from buying atRocky Mount Toyota, I’ve done my due diligence. ****** More
