We have been dealing with Toyota for over 30 years, never had a problem under Bobby Murray Toyota. Toyota of Rocky Mount is not an honest and good place to buy from. We bought a 2015 Toyota Camry in July 20 had a problem under Bobby Murray Toyota. Toyota of Rocky Mount is not an honest and good place to buy from. We bought a 2015 Toyota Camry in July 2021 and paid cash. Upon test driving the same day, there was a hesitation in car, the salesmen said bring it back and they will fix the problem. When we took it back (bought on Friday and returned on Monday as instructed), the mechanic said it was the transmission and would cost $7000 for a new transmission and $5000 for a used one and we had to pay it because they wouldn't. We didn't wait 2 months down the road to take the car back; we took it right back and follow procedures. We called the Toyota headquarters to file a complaint, after they check into it; they said there was nothing that could be done because the recall had went off in June 2021. We went back to Toyota of Rocky Mount to talk to salesman and general manager about helping us. The salesman was no longer with them and the general manger could not help us. Here we are, on social security, with a car that’s not drivable. Toyota of Rocky Mount dealership did not stand behind their word. More
