PLEASE READ, so you don’t get taken advantage of like myself. I understand that dealerships take advantage of people to make more money, but this organization takes it to the next level. So if you can myself. I understand that dealerships take advantage of people to make more money, but this organization takes it to the next level. So if you can, it’s best to stay away from this dealership. I bought my car from them over a year ago, but seeing that they did the same thing to other people in the past few months, I figured it’d be helpful for prospective buyers to share my experience. They will likely low-ball your trade-in, to an insulting degree. Their offer for my 7 year old Kia Soul (in pretty good condition) with about 110,000 miles on it was $500. They tried to leverage a code read-out, saying it could be a major engine problem (even though they knew it was a cheap and easy fix). Luckily I brought my code reader and caught them lying. Bring one yourself so they can’t take advantage of you, and so you can check the car you’re buying. I even saw a couple walk out in anger, right after hearing their offer for a trade-in. They said that their tires cost more than the trade-in offer. They then lied on the loan application about my occupation, without my approval. I’m an Uber driver, and apparently the credit unions and banks that they partner with will not approve a loan for you if this is your job (even though my credit score was above 780 at the time). They put on the application that I worked for Uber in the customer service center, in order to get it approved (without asking me). When I sat down with the financier, she told me this as if she was doing me a favor, and assured me that is a normal thing they do there. She also snuck in an extended warranty, even after I firmly stated that I didn’t want one, telling her exactly what I wanted my monthly payment to be for the exact number of months I wanted to pay it off. She disregarded what I told her, and snuck one in anyways. Also, extending the loan length so it wouldn’t reflect a big difference on my monthly payment. My lack of focus lead me to signing without thoroughly inspecting what I was signing. She was also chatting me up the whole time, building rapport, all the while setting me up to get taken advantage of, just so she can make an extra buck. Later that night I looked through what I had signed. Due to my lack of focus in the moment, I saw that I had been taken advantage of. I went back the next day, leveraging the fact that they lied about my occupation on the loan. The only way I would continue with buying the car was if I financed it through my own Credit Union, and she take off the extended warranty that she snuck in. I had my father co-sign the loan, just to make sure it would be approved. The financier then made fun of me for my father co-signing the loan saying something along the lines of, “Still need Daddy’s help huh? Don’t you think it’s time to grow up?” On top of that, she was shaming me for making her work more, for making her call her GM about the issue, and making it seem like I had been the bad guy in the situation. Luckily the car I bought had less than 15,000 miles on it, and a squeaky clean car fax. If you are purchasing an older vehicle, make sure you get the car fax, and have it checked out by another mechanic. As you read through other more critical reviews, the warranties they add, seem to not cover vehicles that break down within months or days after your purchase. Another important thing to know is that they tack on an exogloss warranty, non negotiable, from what they said. They charged $999 for this, and $899 for dealership fees. Before you are drawn into the low prices that they advertise, add an extra $2000 to the price tag and see if it’s still worth looking at. However, I was able to get them to discount the exogloss warranty to $400. If they have a car worth buying, please be prepared. Please get it inspected first if it’s older, and bring a code reader. It’s best to assume that they are lying to you every step of the way. Trust the paperwork, not their words. Don’t want y’all to get yourself into the situation that I was in. Best of luck to you 🤙 More
Lex was very good with us. He really worked hard for us to give us the best deal possible. I was getting out of the army and needed a car to drive 1500 miles home. They only let me test drive it in the dealer lot. Once I got out out of the parking lot and down the road I noticed it couldn’t keep 1500 miles home. They only let me test drive it in the dealer lot. Once I got out out of the parking lot and down the road I noticed it couldn’t keep up with traffic. Took it back after 11 days. (That was when they said to bring it in to fix it) Only drove it 3 times. They said they would fix everything. When I picked it up the day before I was discharged they said the catalytic converter hadn’t come in but everything else was good. They knew I was driving 1470 miles home. It broke down after 8 hours. When I talked to them to tell them to take their car back they claim to have told me not to drive it! Seriously?? Why would I buy a car I cannot drive? When a mechanic looked at it he said nothing was done to service the cars engine. He said the oil was sludge and hadn’t been changed in a very long time (funny how the service report says the opposite) and I need a new motor. Did I mention the electrical problem? Don’t even get me started with that. It won’t start without being jumped! So now I am out 4400$ for the down payment and 1000$ to get the piece of junk to my hometown! Don’t buy from these people. They rip off active service people and veterans! They won’t do the right thing and refund my $ and get their garbage car. More
