Unskilled mechanics, Liars, No Respect Never go there! I have been complaining about a sound I am hearing from the front passenger side. They kept telling me that they don't hear it. After almost a year of I have been complaining about a sound I am hearing from the front passenger side. They kept telling me that they don't hear it. After almost a year of bringing it back for this, I ask to go on a test drive and then the mechanic tells me"Oh yeah I hear that". So they kept the car for 3 days and told me it was fixed. I pick the car up around 5pm on a Saturday. Drove it home only to find that they did not fix it. Call and let them know and that I was bring the car in on Tuesday. No courtesy or rent a car. They told me that if the repair was under the coverage, that they would pay for the rent a car. So they changed the stabilizer bar and that wasn't it.So after 4 more days they tell me they found a small amount of fluid from my shock in the strut, but that is not covered under my plan and wanted to charge me $750. I found my coverage receipt and called them up to find out that my struts are covered under my plan. I then asked if they even called to see if it was covered. NO THEY NEVER CALLED. He said that any inquire into my plan gets add to my folder. Liars! Thieves! And then refused to pay for the rent a car. So a total of 7 days having my car and then was told "it's hard to find out what it is making that noise". No kidding, but that is your job to know. The manager is so inept that he doesn't even know about the coverage that they sell. Then telling me that I need to have that coverage for them to pay for a rent a car. Talking to me with that attitude of superiority and yet him knowing nothing about the coverage. I had to keep my cool as I was about to blow up but caught myself. So I asked for the coverage I bought from them as I wasn't sure where I had put the original. She was to email the coverage. Never got it. Well I found it anyway and it says that I was covered. I hate going there. NO ONE Should, If you have bought a Zurich plan, you can go to any mechanic and they will pay them by credit card. Do yourself a favor and never go back to this car dealership. They suck... UPDATE: They called me and did apologize. After actually calling my coverage plan (Zurich), they found out that I do have rent a car coverage and got that paid for me. They then offered me to bring the car in to change the struts. Which I do not believe is the problem, so I have made an appointment with my local Mechanic to find out what is the problem and Zurich will pay them for the repair. So after putting me thru xxxx with this screw up, it cost them nothing! They didn't even offer to pay for the extra insurance I bought. $11.99 a day for 4 days. So this review will stay here. If I can avoid going back to this dealership, I will. More
Energized Service Dept. After a very rocky and awful start of the week, things turned around and I had an excellent ending. The service manager (Bill) fulfilled his promise to redeem favorably my experience with the service dept. John Esposito the advisor also recuperated favorably from the downfall. The paperwork was done for my insurance. The car was repaired. The follow up today with a few concerns went well. Professionalism and integrity is back in the game for Rockland Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Service Dept. :) I would definitely use their services again. More
Getting Service on a Lemon Car My car has turned to be a lemon. I understand that. But when the service department does nothing to help you with the paperwork and the transmitting o My car has turned to be a lemon. I understand that. But when the service department does nothing to help you with the paperwork and the transmitting of an insurance claim and wants the money up front and quick, its gets really bad. I was not given a written estimate of the repairs. They did not provide my insurance company with the information they needed to process the claim. I had dealt with this service department when they were under different owner and management. Things have gone downhill since the change over. Very bad public relations. very bad communication and poor and even illegal lack of disclosures and due processes. More
Professional and Quality service!! Came in due to transmission stalling and needing to get into work ASAP on a Monday morning. Turned out I was overdue for an oil change!
