Thank you specifically to Mechanic Bob for expertly diagnosing and servicing my Hondas. Thank you also to Frank for providing customer service with proficiency and with a smile. Thank you Cashier Anna for taking my money with a big smile. In summary, customer service, quality of work, and friendliness are three reasons that I return time after time after time to the Lompoc Honda Service Department. I met Mr. Zikakis while browsing the lot at Lompoc Honda while my car was being serviced. He was a very down to earth man, and I had no idea that he was the head of the dealership. We talked about cars, a while my car was being serviced. He was a very down to earth man, and I had no idea that he was the head of the dealership. We talked about cars, and we also talked about family and other matters. He was not in any hurry to introduce me to one of his sales people, but rather seemed interested in me as a person. I thought perhaps we was another customer even. When I found out that he was the owner of the dealership he smiled and we shook hands. He said that if there was anything that was unsatisfactory about my experience or the service I received to please let him know personally. I left the dealership thinking "I will be back, and soon!" Screwed on a deal that we thought included an extended warranty and then wouldn't fix it and threatened to tear up contract and keep their car!! The check engine light came on 1 days after purchase and Honda Lompoc immediately contacted. The 2005 Toyota Corolla was taken for serice to Lompoc three times, and supposedly fixed. After many calls to the sales person, service manager & owner, the vehicle is still not fixed 6 wks later. Upon several occasions I was informed not to worry about it, it is only a check engine light and perfectly safe to drive. In other words, ignore it. This car was purchased for my teen, and the last thing I want is my child driving an unsafe vehicle. Upon one occasion, I was scheduled, took the car in, and there was not anyone there to work on it. I am driving from Santa Maria to Lompoc, about 40 miles round trip, and taking time off from work to do this. They then told me they could not fix it and referred me onto Toyota Santa Maria. It has now been into Toyota twice. The first time Toyota said there was an unfixed recall unrelated to our complaint that they fixed and possible the torque converter. When we got it back the engine light was still on. It was taken back to Toyota a second time; the diagnostic code revealed probably the torque converter, or another issue. They said they would have to get into contact with Honda Lompoc to authorize the repair. That was 2 weeks ago and still within the 30 day warranty period. I have not heard anythig from Honda Lompoc. Toyota says Honda is not responding to the request for repair. They are now ignoring calls. High pressure sales and abhorrent service. That is Lompoc Honda. Lompoc Honda is not a BBB member,but I submitted a complaint. That is how I found this website. We will see if they even respond. More
