Bernie looked out for me in every respect. He made sure that the car that I was looking at was the best car that suited my needs. Then he made sure that the car’s fair price included every discount offered by the car manufacturer, Ford, and by the dealer. He kept the trade in value of my present car openly separate from the new car’s cost. He made sure that I understood how the trade-in’s value of my car had been arrived at. He made sure that the trade-in price was acceptable to me, and if not, to separate the trade-in from the deal. When the deal had been almost completed, he did not rush the delivery until the new car was properly prepared for delivery on the following day. That evening, Bernie called to tell me more good news. There was a new $500 factory promotion toward the sale of the new Focus Hatchback that I was buying. He just keeps working in my behalf! Two weeks ago I phoned Joe about wanting a new van. After a 10 minute phone interview, Joe got right on the search. I was seeking a Silver Transit. He found one almost immediately at a nearby dealership. I met Joe and left a deposit on this vehicle.
