Service department staff who communicate with customers are great. It’s what you would expect from a dealership. I would not recommend the mechanic who serviced our vehicle. It tools days for diagnosis when I knew what was wrong (oil pump failure) from a quick communication with the computer. We continually received communication day after day that our vehicle would be ready “tomorrow” according to the mechanic. Once we received our vehicle back, the oil pump failed immediately. They fixed that and the battery light came on immediately after pick up. The mechanic stated that they did nothing with the electrical system. I mentioned that they did have to loosen and take off wires and the response was that I could drop it off and wait for the mechanic to get to it for a diagnosis. Not wnating to wait days, I looked at the battery and the cable was barely on. The nut that holds it on was almost off the post… not even hand tight. This whole process took about a month. Like I said, the people I talked with were pleasant and presented as caring about may situation. It’s just unfortunate that when a mechanic’s work fails, a customer moves back to the bottom of the waiting list and there is no urgency to fix their mistake. In the end, our vehicle runs great and I would recommend. Just be prepared for not having a vehicle for a while and if the work done fails, there is no support for the customer. More
