I recently purchased my first car from Clements. The service I have received so far has been absolutely phenomenal. John Opat helped make this first experience a great one. I had looked at a few other dealerships where the salespeople I worked with only cared about pushing a car off on me. This was not the case with John. John took the time to get to know me and and my life to help me find the car that would best fit me. I took two different days test driving cars at Clements, and the second time I came John remembered exactly who I was. He has done everything he could to make my first experience a fantastic one. I purchased a 2007 Chevy Impala, which he had cleaned and gotten an oil change while we were going through paperwork. A few days after purchasing the car, I came back to get my license plates and John reprogrammed one of my car remotes and replaced the dying battery. He then gave me an extra new battery to use in the future. I have been so pleased with my experience at Clements and would greatly recommend purchasing a new or used car from them. And make sure you ask for John! More

I bought a 2011 dodge minivan. After the purchase, while walking to the van Mike informed us that there was only 1 set of keys. We said oh, how much is another set of keys he said theat it would be expensi walking to the van Mike informed us that there was only 1 set of keys. We said oh, how much is another set of keys he said theat it would be expensive and that we would have to go to the Dodge dealer. We then drove away from the lot and did some shopping. Come back to the van and the oil change light comes on. SO called Mike and asked him if the oil was changed before the van was sold. His answer was well we looked at it and it looked good, we normally do an oil change but did not this time. Cut to a month later go to Dodge dealer to get keys made. To my surprise there was a part recall on the van that Clements had not taken care of before selling the van. And the kicker is to get an extra set of keys made it was almost 275 dollars cause the van has one of those fobs that start the van. More
My experience with Todd was the best I have had with a sales guy ever. I have bought 3 new cars and this was the easiest experience so far. I have serviced my trade in at a different dealer for the last 5 years and they were not even as honest, customer oriented, or friendly as Todd. In addition to customer service, the price of my new car and the amount they gave me for my trade in was better than the dealer I use to go to. They also were not pushy on trying to sell you other add ons (extended warranty, accessories, etc) which was nice not to feel obligated to purchase extras. Everything that I asked for was done timely and I would definitely go back to buy another car from them in the future. More

I drove a Toyota Highlander before and many things are the same on the interior setup. We have taken the Outback in for a couple of free car washes which makes me feel spoiled. We were given a fair trade in on our Jeep. Heated seats are great. The car seems to handle well in snow and ice too. More

He went out of his way to show us several different models of vehicles which might fit our needs in addition to minivans. The vehicle which we selected was very clean already and while we in the purchasing process John had it washed and detailed. The dealership furnished new floor mats and a second key. John was very pleasant and patient guiding us through the purchasing process. The dealership provded refreshments and excellent financing opportunities. We would highly recommend Clements Chevrolet to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. More
I had been doing a lot of research on the 2009 to 2010 Pontiac Vibe GT, and I happened to locate one within my price range on this site, so I decided to call. I had done a year's worth of research and was now ready to buy a car. This car had all of the specs I was looking for and is just the right color. I didn't even plan on negotiating the price down because I thought it was a great price for the vehicle. Again, I call in to the dealership and am transferred to Mike. I start by verifying a few things stated on the web site for which he says, "Well, you are on the web site, aren't you? I mean, whatever it says..." After I began stating where I was located (I am in Indiana and wanted to drive up this week) and that I was interested, he seemingly interrupts me mid sentence and says that he is "on a remote phone and must call me back." It seemed as though he never listened to a word that I said and did not actually ever call me back. What a horrible first impression. If this is the first experience you have with a dealer, would you spend $15k or more with someone who does business like this? Keep this in mind as their low prices reel you in... More
Todd worked with me via email for over a month to get me the car I wanted (a manual Legacy 2.5i Premium with All-weather package). He was the only sales rep I contacted who was willing to make a car swap fo the car I wanted (a manual Legacy 2.5i Premium with All-weather package). He was the only sales rep I contacted who was willing to make a car swap for me, and was eventually able to arrange a swap with a Twin Cities dealer. I want to thank him and his sales manager for doing the swap, knowing that I wasn't obligated to purchase the car. The sales process was painless and actually rather enjoyable, which is a first for me! More
