Normally car buy is a royal pain but, this was actually a fairly pleasant experience. This rating is ONLY AFTER my most recent service visit. My 75K mile service last week redeemed this dealership from a ZERO stars to 4. I had addressed my thoughts and feelings of the sales rep's. attitude My 75K mile service last week redeemed this dealership from a ZERO stars to 4. I had addressed my thoughts and feelings of the sales rep's. attitude and attention to my problems which included two IMMEDIATELY (still on the lot) after sales problems, along with the service problems I experienced for my 70K mile service, AND with the service departments attitude toward me when I told them the problems I'd had with the Sales and previous Service reps which had never been rectified....these service people announced they would not take care of my pre-existing (since the day of sale) problems until I paid a $165.00 "DIAGNOSTIC FEE". The salesman and previous serviceman HAD DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEMS AND TOLD ME TO RETURN. Remember the original salesman, (no longer in your employ - no wonder) along with the first serviceman (also no longer in your employ, no wonder) had told me to return to your service dept. on a slow afternoon (preferrably Tuesdays or Thursdays) and my problems would be handled. Due to your service departments attitude toward me when I took it in one "quiet" Thursday afternoon, I went elsewhere for advice on my problems and did NOT HAVE TO PAY A $165.00 DIAGNOSTIC FEE. I was NOT looking forward to going back to this dealership for my 75K mile service and was looking for another dealership. Fortunately for your dealership my time was limited and I had no choice but to return for my 75K mile service. At this point in time I don't regret that decision as my serviceman this time proved to me that you do have at least ONE attentive, helpful, friendly and honest employee...hence the increase in stars allotted this time and I don't currently look at my 80K mile service with the same trepidation as the last visit. P.S. I never did see my review from those previous visits posted on your site. More
Check Engine light on. I took me Escape in fbecause the "check engine" light was on. I had previosly had the system checked and was advised that the trouble code was P0369. Because of heavy work load, it was two days before the car was ready. Total cost was $457.79. ONe day after repairs, the "check engine" light was once more on. I again had the system checked and the trouble code once again was P0369? Taking it back today to see if they can get it right this time. More
