Took my car in for a noise it was making and told they couldn't do anything for me because they couldn't hear it - yet everyone who has been in my car has heard it. Took it in twice with no help at all. couldn't do anything for me because they couldn't hear it - yet everyone who has been in my car has heard it. Took it in twice with no help at all. More
I'm sure the service was completed accurately, but the communication and sketchy upsell was condescending and unprofessional. When asked why such recommendations were being suggested, there was no answer communication and sketchy upsell was condescending and unprofessional. When asked why such recommendations were being suggested, there was no answer just an attitude that conveyed irritation that the question was even asked. I spoke to two women, names were difficult and unique. Neither were kind or professional. More
It was 2 weeks before I got my car back. They provided a loaner only the second week. When I took the car in, they had just experienced a mass walkout in their service department. Things They provided a loaner only the second week. When I took the car in, they had just experienced a mass walkout in their service department. Things were hectic but John, from their KIA dealership, filled in and helped. He was a tremendous help through this whole ordeal. Kudos to John. Most recently I have delt with Toby who is professional and helpful. I first had a battery replaced. $454.10 for a battery??? I called another GMC dealer later and was quoted $301.21 including installation. Since I purchased the vehicle from Brogden, I proceeded with work there. I picked up the car and found several electronics were not functioning including the radio. They then diagnosed and discovered the electrics were fried. They subsequently diagnosed that the radio had to be replaced. This is a 2018 GMC Terrain with less than 20,000 miles. Fortunately, I had purchased an extended warranty when I purchased the vehicle from Brogden, which covered everything (less the battery of course) minus a $100 deductible. John was very helpful in getting this warranty checked out and approved. A horrific experience with the walkout of several employees but John worked with me to finally get everything resolved. Toby was hired to replace some of the "missing" employees and is a very good addition. I'm not sure if I will continue doing business with Brogden. The $162.89 cost over a competing GMC dealer leaves me to wonder if Brogden overcharges on all services. More
Service Tire Maintenance System light was on. I’ve had one replaced already. Went in for service and was helped by a gentleman in a KIA polo shirt. I waited for service and was told the front pas I’ve had one replaced already. Went in for service and was helped by a gentleman in a KIA polo shirt. I waited for service and was told the front passenger tire had a slow leak that could not be repaired and that replacing the tire would resolve the light. Was also told I had an oil leak that would cost $3500 to fix (had just been in recently for regular service and had not been told this). Asked for the tire to be ordered and was told I would be called when it arrived to schedule service. Called 2 weeks later when I hadn’t heard anything. Tire was in so scheduled service. Took in for service on the 15th and specifically reminded Jamaica about the light as I was leaving the vehicle overnight for service the next day. Arrived Saturday the 17th. Jamaica had to bring my vehicle around herself as she couldn’t get anyone from service to bring it around. She noticed the light was still on so took it back to service to have it cleared and was told by service the light was on for the back passenger tire. The sensor on the front tire hadn’t been replaced and the sensor on the back tire hadn’t been replaced and I replaced a tire that I’m not sure needed replaced…what the heck? Jamaica consulted with Toby and they assured me one of them or the manager would call me on Monday, the 19th. I called back on the 20th when I hadn’t heard from anyone and spoke with Toby again and was told he or a manager would call me on the 21st before 9:00 AM. I bought this vehicle with you. Have only had it serviced by you and will be purchasing a new vehicle this year and had planned to purchase from you as I’ve had such good service up to this point. Totally disappointed. More
Dealership called me quickly and provided a diagnosis of my power steering leak. I decided not to get it fixed due to high cost of labor for the repair. The dealer did service the power steering and state my power steering leak. I decided not to get it fixed due to high cost of labor for the repair. The dealer did service the power steering and stated they replaced the old fluid and conditioned the system. I’ll see if this helps. More
Customer # 108643. New service representative. He was the only person waiting on customers on Saturday morning at the time of opening. Also, when I picked up my vehi New service representative. He was the only person waiting on customers on Saturday morning at the time of opening. Also, when I picked up my vehicle at time of completion, he was overwhelmed with customers. He tabulated my ticket and I was overcharged. I questioned him about it and he realized I was overcharged. He mentioned he did not know how to reimburse the overcharged amount. So, he just made a note in my file alowing me to have a FREE oil change next time. Personally, I don't believe that this was handled correctly, as Brogdens' is now holding my money. I feel the ticket needs to be reevaluated by an experienced person. I can only be in hopes that this past transaction does not create a problem at the time of the next oil change. More
