over charged me for a lof came in for a lof (all lof for my truck have been done by Brogden). I had recently noticed a small oil leak and had slid underneath to see where it came in for a lof (all lof for my truck have been done by Brogden). I had recently noticed a small oil leak and had slid underneath to see where it was coming from.....a drop of oil on the bottom of the oil filter confirmed the leak to be from the oil filter. i alerted the service advisor about the leak and suggested its possible during the last oil change the gasket from the old oil filter may not have come off and there might be two gaskets when he removes the oil filter. The work was done on time and when I paid for the service asked the service advisor what had been found which could have caused the slow leak....her response was that the wrong filter had been installed at the last oil change. When I got home I checked previous tickets to see what the number was for the wrong filter.....what had been entered was identical to the last half a dozen lof. I'm trying to figure out how the wrong filter could have been installed. What I did notice was I was billed for 6 quarts of oil, when the owner's manual says my 2016 GMC Canyon 4c only holds 5. I checked all my receipts for all the old lof you have performed (every 5000 miles) and found of the 28 oil changes there were 12 where I had been charged for 6 quarts of oil. I called the service advisor and explained what had happened and asked what was the filter they had taken off.....she transferred me to parts department....we discussed how the software automatically fills in what is believed to be in the service department and its up to the service advisor to fix....bottom line this has been going on for over 4 and a half years and I have been overcharged $50 More
I received an alert on a Saturday morning for a transmission issue. I called Robert Brogden and they were able to schedule the Service same day and Gabe me a loaner car on shirt notice. It felt as if I the customer was an interruption.
