I had researched the vehicle I wanted for months, contacted several dealerships in state and out, and landed myself on one at this dealership. The upfront no bull pricing is what I wanted but was blown away by their selection of vehicles. I called Phil and told him I would be driving an hour and a half to see the car, my time was not wasted with gimmicks and slide of hand tactics. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a new car/truck. Go see Philip and don't waste your time trying to negotiate with high pressure salesmen at other dealerships. Ryan Walker More

Beware - Avoid At All Cost! Beware! This dealer will rip you off. My car just turn over 50,000 miles (it's at 52,500 - no longer under warranty) and I was quoted for over $2100 f Beware! This dealer will rip you off. My car just turn over 50,000 miles (it's at 52,500 - no longer under warranty) and I was quoted for over $2100 for an a/c repair. On top of this, I had a full diagnostic check done 30 days ago. There was no mention of a freon leak or any other a/c issue at that time (the supposed culprit). A dodge challenger that is only 3 years old with an a/c fix quote of over $2000. Please, avoid this dealer at all cost. Avoid the headache. Thank you. More

Where do I start? After multiple bad experiences with this dealership as a whole, I felt it finally necessary to tell my story of my two year service experience with Un After multiple bad experiences with this dealership as a whole, I felt it finally necessary to tell my story of my two year service experience with University Dodge. ( There's also a sales experience review) My first oil service experience I called and made an appointment two days prior. I arrived ten minutes before my service appointment and was told "since you made an appointment, use the EXPRESS lane). Feeling ahead of the game I went and waited thinking I wouldn't be long, almost two hours had passed by and my truck had been sitting in the bay untouched. It took my original salesperson who said hello when I initially walked in to notice me still sitting there waiting almost two hours later, Vinnie then went and spoke to the service employees and told me they hadn't serviced it yet and apologized for them. About thirty minutes later, I finally received my truck and was able to leave. This was unacceptable. I am currently dealing with this next issue. While putting gas in my truck after realizing it was oddly empty,I happened to realized it had a massive gas leak coming from the gas tank. My girlfriend towed my truck into the service center for me the next day because I had to leave out of town, this was on a Wednesday. I returned Monday and called the service center to see what had been done since Thursday, not a thing had been done. My cell phone does accept calls while I'm in New York and the dealership is in South Florida, yet nothing was done in in the four to five days it had been sitting there and no one had called me. I spoke to "Jared" who appears to be in charge of my truck. Jared stated the reason the gas tank was damaged due to a minor cosmetic dent which impacted my rear bumper. I refused to accept this answer based on the fact that dent had been there for almost a year now and this was a massive leak which could not just appear a year later without some sort of gradual leak. Jared asked if I wanted them to do a diagnostic check which would cost $100 to access the damage and reason for the leak. So, they didn't even know what the extent of the damage was and automatically attempted to pin the reason of the leak on me. Which appears to be an attempt to not have the issue be covered by factory warranty without even diagnosing the issue. I told Jared to do the diagnostic check to get to the bottom of the issue and get passed the games. Jared called back and apologized for his prior claim and stated the gas tank damage did not come from the bumper damage, Jared then alleged some sort of road debris must've kicked up into the tank and damaged it. Well if that was the case, that is a pretty weak gas tank, especially for a large truck (dodge ram) and should be replaced under warranty for the cheap part it must be. So, after a significant service center delay of a week, my insurance adjuster evaluated the truck and I placed my insurance claim which was same day. I spoke to Jared and approved him to make the necessary repairs to the vehicle. Jared said the car would be done "possibly" Saturday, but if not, definitely Monday. I am here Wednesday morning telling you that I haven't heard from Jarred or the service center since the approval call last Thursday, **** Keep all that in mind as I tell you about the icing on the cake... I had arrangements to spend Sunday with my four year old daughter, however, my child seat was inside my truck which was being repaired. The service center closes at 5PM on Saturdays. I called between 2:30 PM and 3:00 PM and left a message for Jared explaining it was imperative for him to call me back as soon as possible. I did not receive a call. I called around 6:00 PM spoke to the receptionist and then left a message with whatever manager was there for the remainder of the night explaining how important it was for him to return my call as soon as possible. I received no call. I once again began calling on Sunday morning at 10:00 AM to speak to a manager, once again the receptionist sent me to a mailbox where I pleaded for someone to call me back, waited an hour, no call back. Finally I called back and told the receptionist my issue and pleaded for her to get a manager to speak to me or I would not be able to see my daughter, she put me on hold, came back and said she handed my name and number directly to a manager who said as soon as he was done with the people he was with, would return my call. This was Sunday morning, I write you on Wednesday morning to tell you that I still have not received one phone call, I also missed my day with my daughter because I cannot drive my four year old girl around without a child seat. Today is Thursday, two weeks later since my truck was towed into service, yesterday I received a voicemail from Jared asking if I had picked up my keys (appears the they have now lost my key). I returned Jared's call to tell him that I did not, I once again left a voicemail, which was now my fifth in five days, I still have not received a return call to advise that they have found my key or if the work is done. Today is Friday, I received a call from Jared reporting my car (in his words) was "finally finished". Jared then proceeded to ask "when you come in, bring a gas container with gas in it so you can drive it out of here", INCREDIBLE, THE NERVE?!?! This place is a joke. I will never lease or buy from this dealership again and I advise you to not either. There is one more review under sales which will briefly explain their plans for getting me out of my lease which will be over mileage upon lease end, it's actually humorous as well as insulting. More

They refused to handle the RECALL on my vehicle. Their excuse was they might break something in the process and wanted my permission to charge me full price if that happened. I said no, but I'll agree to pay whatever the out-of-pocket cost of the part is if something breaks. They would NOT agree to that, they wanted to profit from their mistake and told me to take my vehicle to another dealership. UPDATE: Bob Newland had a change of heart and called me back to do the work. He said he called the national headquarters and they "should" cover it if the dash clips get broken. These clips are moulded into the dash and if they break the entire dash needs to be replaced. The maximum I could have to pay is $200 and I can live with that. More
Service center nightmare For one year I have been getting my truck serviced here. Not by choice! When I bought the truck from them they signed me up for the wrong warranty. In For one year I have been getting my truck serviced here. Not by choice! When I bought the truck from them they signed me up for the wrong warranty. In the beginning I figured since I purchased the vehicle here maybe I will have it serviced here. so far in one year $18,500 in repairs. In the first month of having the vehicle the a/c went out, brakes, EGR valve and 2 turbos. I allowed them to perform warranty work. When the part breaks, that dealership that installed the new part has to work on it, and so begins my nightmare of being forced to deal with this joke of a service center. Their work is amateur at best. Their customer service is atrocious and their promises of time when you car will be ready is as far off as you can get. When the parts they originally installed quit breaking I will gladly hurry to be serviced elsewhere. Please listen to these reviews do not get sucked into this inadequate dealerships grips you may never escape. More
My worst nightmare Took my car here for a recall. Timing chain on a Dodge Challenger. don't even get me started on the complete lack of communication at this place. Long Took my car here for a recall. Timing chain on a Dodge Challenger. don't even get me started on the complete lack of communication at this place. Long story made short, I was financially xxxxx because I trusted them and felt trapped. The care was misfiring which is what prompted the call. They refused to perform the recall claiming they could not because the car had trouble. Had to pay for a $99 diagnostic. Kept my car for three days with absolutely no word. Finally after multiple calls I was given the first of 3 nonsense explanations before I was bought in and told I had internal problems and needed to pay $500 dollars to rip my engine apart to find out. I asked if these problems could be because of the timing issue and was told there was no way to know without paying for the breakdown. I said I just wanted the recall done and was told again they refused. $500 dollars and again miscommunications later it was the cam shaft, lifted and piston ring. "How could this happen? Could this be because of the timing chain?" I inquire. And I was told no and given explanations I couldn't understand. $3000. I had taken a friend with me. A newbie mechanic in hopes that between she and I we could gain some clarity. In the end she didn't know what to tell me besides it would cost me to have them reassemble, to have the car towed to another place, then I would still have to come back to dodge for the recall. The service advisor seemed nice and sincere but I had to make the call. Come to find out after talking with another mechanic after getting my car back that the timing chain could have caused all of these damages and it should have been covered under the warranty. This helpful mechanic showed me how to check online and showed me the dealer level recall which included step by step instructions on the repair and would have put them right next to the cam shaft (why did I pay $500 for a breakdown)? He also showed me forums as well as an article in Hot Rod Magazine that notes damage can occur to Pistons and valves due to the defect. By the time he was done he proved that the timing chain most likely caused these damages. There was no way for them to prove another wise. I had been swindled and felt stupid. I am a teacher. I bought this car as a way to feel closer to my dad and brother who both loved muscle cars and have since passed away. All I ever wanted to do was pay it off and begin to learn more about cars and maybe modify it a bit. That was before I became sick. I have a genetic disorder. I can no longer teach full time. Im sick a lot. I'm drowning in debt. I had to call on my 80 year old grandmother who takes care of my blind, diabetic, dementia riddles grandfather and lives on fixed income to max out her credit card for help. I finally paid off the car in February. With the money I saved I hoped to be able to pay off my mounting medical bills and get back on my feet. Now I'm $3000 in debt again with a job that's ending in June and a strong possibility I will not be rehired the following school year because of my illness. I feel so stupid for trusting this place. DONT GO HERE! They act like they are trying to help. They take advantage of your ignorance. And once your car is broken apart what choice to you have but to let them fix it? Don't get swindled as I did. More
