Where do I start? After multiple bad experiences with this dealership as a whole, I felt it finally necessary to tell my story of my two year service experience with Un After multiple bad experiences with this dealership as a whole, I felt it finally necessary to tell my story of my two year service experience with University Dodge. ( There's also a sales experience review) My first oil service experience I called and made an appointment two days prior. I arrived ten minutes before my service appointment and was told "since you made an appointment, use the EXPRESS lane). Feeling ahead of the game I went and waited thinking I wouldn't be long, almost two hours had passed by and my truck had been sitting in the bay untouched. It took my original salesperson who said hello when I initially walked in to notice me still sitting there waiting almost two hours later, Vinnie then went and spoke to the service employees and told me they hadn't serviced it yet and apologized for them. About thirty minutes later, I finally received my truck and was able to leave. This was unacceptable. I am currently dealing with this next issue. While putting gas in my truck after realizing it was oddly empty,I happened to realized it had a massive gas leak coming from the gas tank. My girlfriend towed my truck into the service center for me the next day because I had to leave out of town, this was on a Wednesday. I returned Monday and called the service center to see what had been done since Thursday, not a thing had been done. My cell phone does accept calls while I'm in New York and the dealership is in South Florida, yet nothing was done in in the four to five days it had been sitting there and no one had called me. I spoke to "Jared" who appears to be in charge of my truck. Jared stated the reason the gas tank was damaged due to a minor cosmetic dent which impacted my rear bumper. I refused to accept this answer based on the fact that dent had been there for almost a year now and this was a massive leak which could not just appear a year later without some sort of gradual leak. Jared asked if I wanted them to do a diagnostic check which would cost $100 to access the damage and reason for the leak. So, they didn't even know what the extent of the damage was and automatically attempted to pin the reason of the leak on me. Which appears to be an attempt to not have the issue be covered by factory warranty without even diagnosing the issue. I told Jared to do the diagnostic check to get to the bottom of the issue and get passed the games. Jared called back and apologized for his prior claim and stated the gas tank damage did not come from the bumper damage, Jared then alleged some sort of road debris must've kicked up into the tank and damaged it. Well if that was the case, that is a pretty weak gas tank, especially for a large truck (dodge ram) and should be replaced under warranty for the cheap part it must be. So, after a significant service center delay of a week, my insurance adjuster evaluated the truck and I placed my insurance claim which was same day. I spoke to Jared and approved him to make the necessary repairs to the vehicle. Jared said the car would be done "possibly" Saturday, but if not, definitely Monday. I am here Wednesday morning telling you that I haven't heard from Jarred or the service center since the approval call last Thursday, **** Keep all that in mind as I tell you about the icing on the cake... I had arrangements to spend Sunday with my four year old daughter, however, my child seat was inside my truck which was being repaired. The service center closes at 5PM on Saturdays. I called between 2:30 PM and 3:00 PM and left a message for Jared explaining it was imperative for him to call me back as soon as possible. I did not receive a call. I called around 6:00 PM spoke to the receptionist and then left a message with whatever manager was there for the remainder of the night explaining how important it was for him to return my call as soon as possible. I received no call. I once again began calling on Sunday morning at 10:00 AM to speak to a manager, once again the receptionist sent me to a mailbox where I pleaded for someone to call me back, waited an hour, no call back. Finally I called back and told the receptionist my issue and pleaded for her to get a manager to speak to me or I would not be able to see my daughter, she put me on hold, came back and said she handed my name and number directly to a manager who said as soon as he was done with the people he was with, would return my call. This was Sunday morning, I write you on Wednesday morning to tell you that I still have not received one phone call, I also missed my day with my daughter because I cannot drive my four year old girl around without a child seat. Today is Thursday, two weeks later since my truck was towed into service, yesterday I received a voicemail from Jared asking if I had picked up my keys (appears the they have now lost my key). I returned Jared's call to tell him that I did not, I once again left a voicemail, which was now my fifth in five days, I still have not received a return call to advise that they have found my key or if the work is done. Today is Friday, I received a call from Jared reporting my car (in his words) was "finally finished". Jared then proceeded to ask "when you come in, bring a gas container with gas in it so you can drive it out of here", INCREDIBLE, THE NERVE?!?! This place is a joke. I will never lease or buy from this dealership again and I advise you to not either. There is one more review under sales which will briefly explain their plans for getting me out of my lease which will be over mileage upon lease end, it's actually humorous as well as insulting. More

The ori This is the type of degraded sales professionalism received from three of the dealerships new vehicle sales employees during August 2016. The original sales rep talked like a cheap pushy New York street hustler during followup solicitations over the phone. The second sales rep was a false self proclaimed internet manager who's a frumpy unkept looking long time dealership sales rep who's rude, interruptive, argumentative and a Non-Listening car sales know it all. Both sales reps talk as though they can control your mind and make a sale. The third individual is a lazy manager who assesses your vehicle w/o going outside to give the slightest glance at the trade in from a distance. Thus, if questioned, he couldn't verify if it had a steering wheel cover or not, or where and how it was parked. They'll low ball your trade in to the point of you giving it away in order for the dealership to compensate for their lose of a deeply discounted vehicle that draws customers to the lot. Lol, the trade vehicle was more than than what they can afford to drive if a dealership loaner isn't provided. All around Losers, and wonder if the owner knows how much his esteemed employees are dragging his business down. The boss should be watching his shop more closely, or he doesn't care as long as cars are sold. Too bad because there are more than a 100 other same mfg dealerships in this state. More

They refused to handle the RECALL on my vehicle. Their excuse was they might break something in the process and wanted my permission to charge me full price if that happened. I said no, but I'll agree to pay whatever the out-of-pocket cost of the part is if something breaks. They would NOT agree to that, they wanted to profit from their mistake and told me to take my vehicle to another dealership. UPDATE: Bob Newland had a change of heart and called me back to do the work. He said he called the national headquarters and they "should" cover it if the dash clips get broken. These clips are moulded into the dash and if they break the entire dash needs to be replaced. The maximum I could have to pay is $200 and I can live with that. More
Prototypical sleezy salespeople I have never written a review before in my life, but felt compelled after one of the worst customer service experiences ever. One example is that I w I have never written a review before in my life, but felt compelled after one of the worst customer service experiences ever. One example is that I was told that the car was Certified PreOwned. When I asked to see it in writing, the sales man said that he doesn't actually have the Certification because it costs them $1000 and "that it is better that they pass the savings to me".but "trust me" the car has been inspected by their mechanics. In a two hour stretch, I watched 3 customers who had AGREED to a purchase, leave because of the way they were treated! The only redeeming factor in this dealership is some of their pricing...which is probably why they have to take the bottom of the barrel, slicked back hair, cigarette smelling, narcissistic sales people. Oh, and if you ask to speak to a manager, you will find the leader of the sleeze xxxxx. Take their price and have another dealer match...definitely not worth the experience. More
the worst car dealership I have ever dealt with. in very few words, I had this finance guy asked me if I was there to buy or just looking, I told him both. he was introduced to me by the salesperso in very few words, I had this finance guy asked me if I was there to buy or just looking, I told him both. he was introduced to me by the salesperson, he started bullying me with questions, He then tells me, maybe I was biting off more than I can chew, without even knowing my personal financials or anything else about me. Then he tells me I should be looking at the base models in the back of the dealership, with I never ask him to do. Talk about judging the book by its cover. I was insulted by this guy in front of other people, First you don't asked a client this type of questions. is not for him to assume anything about a buyers personal finances, and if I was looking for a base model I would have said that from the beginning. Some of the most unprofessional staff I've ever dealt with Learned about this dealership online and, based on what seemed to be good prices, decided to drive 40 miles from Palm Beach to check the place out. Up Learned about this dealership online and, based on what seemed to be good prices, decided to drive 40 miles from Palm Beach to check the place out. Upon arrival my wife and I began to look around the lot and surprisingly we were never approached by any salesmen. Finally I went inside their showroom and asked a salesman for help. We were then directed to "Jim" who was eating a bag of potato chips and drinking a Coke while sitting on their "no bull" statue out front. From the get go Jim appeared bothered that he had to assist us and right away asked how much money we were paying a month for my wife's trade in. After telling him the price he immediately told us that the Durango we were inquiring about was out of our price range, not realizing what we were willing or able to pay. Once back looking at the Durangos I asked Jim to test drive one towhich he agreed to go get the keys. Jim returned a short time later with keys, however, he played the old, "oh sorry I grabbed the wrong ones, do you still want to test drive?", knowing full well we drove down from Palm Beach. Then he apologized and told us that he was sick and, "not feeing it today" before walking us back to the showroom. I was shocked at this guy's rude attitude and lack luster, judgemental approach at sales. I told my wife that we'd go to another dealership that wanted business at which time Jim decides to start arguing with me that we were wasting his time. I was obviously upset to the point that I seeked out a group of managers who, after telling them how we were treated, seemed like they could care less. I can't believe Dodge allows these small time clowns to sell and represent their product. Needless to say they pointed us in the direction of Ford. Don't waste your time with these people, go to Arrigo or seek another brand. More

We went home to get the trade in which was 65 miles away and when got back they refused to give us the deal we spoke about 5 hours earlier that day. Ray Lugo abused my trust If you hear the name Ray Lugo from University Dodge it is my recommendation you walk in the other direction. This guy lied to me about what the price If you hear the name Ray Lugo from University Dodge it is my recommendation you walk in the other direction. This guy lied to me about what the price of car was over the phone to get me in the door and then recklessly drove my car when "test driveing" it for trade, putting not only me but others in my opinion at risk while on a public road. I literally had to yell at him to stop the car. This Ray Lugo is the worst salesman I've ever worked with in my life. The disturbing part about this is when I complained about what Ray Lugo did to management I was told by George the sales manager it was normal practice they push cars to their limits when test driving them. Bait and Switch? - You decide. Read before going there My experience started a few days ago when I requested more information on a 2011 truck I was looking at to get for my son. Ater trading a few emails My experience started a few days ago when I requested more information on a 2011 truck I was looking at to get for my son. Ater trading a few emails with Javier Govea, I made an offer on the truck which he responded in an email and accepted the offer. I inserted the response from Mr. Govea for you to read. The only thing left to do now was to go down, test drive the truck, and then pay for it. My offer, which was in an email also, specifically stated I was making an offer online because I did not want to come down there to haggle. I was very clear. So my wife, my son and I drive an hour to go to the dealership and when we get there, Mr. Lou Domenech tells me he can't honor the deal I made with Mr Govea.....who they could not reach because he had a family emergency. I truly hope he didn't but it did seem convenient that he couldn't be reached. Mr. Domenech did mention that there were other vehicles he could show us but he couldn't sell us the one we negotiated for, for the price we agreed on. He said I should have asked for some sort of contract. Needless to say I was very upset. My son was super excited to finally get his truck and was really broken. I think it hurt me more since I feel like I failed him. What was supposed to be a simple test drive and vehicle purchase turned out to be the most horrible experience I've every had. I stated the facts here for you to make your own conclusion on what happened and for you to decide if this is a company you want to deal with. I sent the GM an email to see if this is a deal we can salvage since my son really liked the truck and is really broken right now. I'll modify my experience if they do right and honor their agreement but I'm not expecting them to do so.. From: Javier Govea I showed these numbers to my sales mananger & this is a reasonable offer & would like to meet with you also for you to come test drive the vehicle. There will be no haggle he wants to move the vehicle. Saturday will be a great day to view & drive the vehicle. We would just like to make sure this is the one you want.
