Disappointed I purchased a 2003 pt cruiser Saturday. I couldn't take it home because of a dmv issue until Monday, which was fine because it needed to be serviced. I purchased a 2003 pt cruiser Saturday. I couldn't take it home because of a dmv issue until Monday, which was fine because it needed to be serviced. Monday we went to pick it up, and were told it was serviced. Keep in mind, I realize it's a used car, one owner ,65,000 miles. Monday night, the oil light went on. I took it to my mechanic Tuesday morning. The oil pressure sensor light was bad, which I had replaced. Also had to have an oil change, since the oil was so old it smelled!! And my spare tire was flat!! And all the fluids had to be topped off! What did they service? They only changed the battery!! Obviously they didn't check anything! And ...the mirrors can't be adjusted from inside, and the front doors don't lock with the key fob! Again, I realize it's a used car, but they did not service it at all!! I called the service department and am still waiting for a call back. Our salesman called and I told him the issues, and again got I'll have the manager call you. I was also told that's what happens when you are in a rush. Really??You had all Saturday and Monday morning. Would not reccomend them. More
