We hate to see reviews like this because a simple solution was available. It's unfortunate that no matter how many times you explain something to a customer it's somehow our fault. Yes Karen we do perform a 150 point safety and maintenance inspection and we spent over $1500 on this inspection. The van was driven four miles and everything was good on test drive. You called a few days later explaining the issue and we set up a service appointment and found that the electronic solenoid would get stuck after it heated up. When you went in the finance office they offered you an extended service contract and you flat out denied the offer. You were explained that the van did not come with a warranty and you were still adamant and declined. it wasnt that you were being pressured we just want everyone to understand if should something occur the warranty protects you and customers wont be upset with us if something like this happens. We offered to split the cost on of the repair as a good faith gesture even though the van was sold without a warranty. I thought that was very fair and you disagreed and took your van. Now it will cost you double somewhere else. The van you traded in here has a bad transmission which I'm sure you knew about but that's our problem and our fault for not catching it but again it happens when it reaches operating temperature and we would never contact you regarding the issue. We stand behind all of our work and our cars, if it was something we fixed it would be no charge. All paperwork that is required at time of purchase was given to you. The vin number that is is on all your paperwork is 100% correct and matches on every form you signed including DMV forms. You can't blame us because you declined to protect your investment.

Driving it 4 miles I find it hard to believe that you could do a 150 point check when at least three items on the check list include something with the transmission. I was not "adamant" but did decline. Why would I give you more money when you didn't provide a "Road Ready" car? As I explained when I declined we have a mechanic that doesn't accept the extended warranty coverage you offered so why would I purchase it? The fact is that the car was not "Road Ready" as you claimed and your offer to take "partial" responsibility was not good enough.
