Excellent service for 1st time buyers I went through 3 cars before going to road ready. I bought my 1st 3 cars from random people. Needless to say, I have wasted over 10 thousand dollars including the price of the cars and repairs in the last 4 years. I was at wits end when my last 1995 Ford Taurus broke down. I refused to fix it. On break at work, I sent road ready an inquiry about a car, they called me back within 10 minutes, and by the end of the day, I was signed for a beautiful 2010 Hyundai. I have been driving it for 3 weeks now and it's the best decision I've ever made. They were extremely helpful, they didn't try to cheat me being a single female with next to no knowledge about cars, and the whole staff was very dedicated and made you feel like a real valued customer. I highly recommend to any and everyone looking for a new or used car. More
This establishment has burned me tremendously. Deceit, violated and disrespected doesnt begin to cover how Road Ready Used Cars in Bridgeport Connecticut has made me feel towards them. I advise ANYONE who violated and disrespected doesnt begin to cover how Road Ready Used Cars in Bridgeport Connecticut has made me feel towards them. I advise ANYONE who is considering this establishment to purchase their vehicle to PLEASE LOOK ELSEWHERE. If you should decide to go with them for their purchase, ask to physically go with them as they run your vehicles CarFax. In 2009, I was 18 years old I used the money I had been saving since I started working a part time job to buy my own car my FIRST car. Unfortunately I chose to give Road Ready Used cars my business. I was interested in a 2003 Ford Focus, it was eco-friendly, sporty and affordable as any high school student would have wanted. They were stubborn on going down on the price of $8,000 (give or take), so I began to look elsewhere until I received an eager phone call from [who I thought was] a very kind general manager offering the car to me for $7,200. He claimed he sympathized with me for wanting to buy my first car at my young age and felt honored I chose them. As I came in for a test drive I brought my father an enthusiast for Ford models, as we drove the car around he felt uneasy that I was interested in this vehicle, he had its suspicions that this car had been through extensive repair work and maybe it was unsafe. Naturally we asked for the CarFax.The salesmen came back to the desk with a piece of paper saying there was only minor maintenance and body work done to car (windshield wipers, break pads, ect.), and this the car was safe without a doubt. For four years I dumped multiple expenses into front-end work for the car. Almost two weeks after I purchased the car my struts needed to be replaced, about every three months I needed a new right ball joint, in fact, one year after I bought the vehicle the entire engine blew on me while I was merging on the highway. Thankfully enough for me, we have great mechanics in my family and always had it checked out to make sure it was safe. Now that I am out of college and beginning a new career, I am trying to upgrade to a newer vehicle for the next 10 years of my life. I blue-booked my cars value to $2,600 so I can use that value for a trade in. As my new dealer ran the CarFax on the car I purchase from Road Ready Used Cars, what was discovered blew my mind. There were THREE previous owners, and it was involved in a major accident just months before I purchased the car. The value of the car when I bought it was only $4,400, and ot remind you all reading this I bought it for $7,200 with the impression this car had ONE other owner, and minor repair work. At 18 years old, this was the only money I had to my name, not only do I feel I was ripped off but blatantly lied to. Road Ready Used Cars in Bridgeport, CT produced a CarFax, and covered the real details of the Carfax with details from another CarFax using the Print Screen function, and pasting it into Paint and printing it out as if it came right off of the CarFax website. How were we supposed to know? I signed for the car as is but I wouldnt have even purchased the car had I known it was involved in ANY accident. My next step of action was of course to call this business and explain to them the fault made in my purchase. I left a message for a manager, and received a vermin filled explanation when he called me back. The manager never asked which car I purchased, or what my concern was. Instead he told me I was full of xxxx and laughed out loud when I demanded an explanation for this. I asked him if he was able to conduct himself like a professional I would appreciate it very much, he responds Okay little girl, what are you going to do about it?! as I told him I was going to take action to correct the wrong I have been done he laughed again and hung up the phone. My first step is to get this word into the public, and hope he doesnt get the opportunity to burn anybody ever again, my second is to be compensated for the lies, the inconvenience, and most importantly the audacity to speak to a 22 year old woman in the way I was spoken to.If this situation alone does not convince you to go with another used car dealer, I can only hope you do not find yourself in this same situation as me, and I can only hope you never need to speak with the general manager for any reason at all either. This fiasco happened because of dishonest employees who produced a bogus CarFax to make themselves a %50 profit off of a teenager. More
I went to this place with the intent on purchasing a vehicle. After I placed my deposit, I was told that I must purchase an extended warranty which was a rip off. When I refused to purchase the warran vehicle. After I placed my deposit, I was told that I must purchase an extended warranty which was a rip off. When I refused to purchase the warranty, the dealer would not sell me the vehicle and did not refund my deposit. Buyers beware! There are safer places in Bridgeport to get ripped off. I would never recommend this place! More
