Paul helped me right away and soon I was test driving my car and I decided it was the one for me. Everyone I came into contact with was very nice and personable and made me comfortable from the get go. There was also a great selection of cars on the lot. Overall, I had a great experience and Paul was awesome! I definitely recommend Road Ready Used Cars! More

Patrick....DON'T GET SO DEFENSIVE! I JUST HUNG UP FROM PATRICK AT ROAD READY. ROAD READY HAD BEEN CALLING ME WEEKLY TO TRY TO SELL ME A 2008 FORD EXPLORER EDDIE BAUER. I MADE THE APP I JUST HUNG UP FROM PATRICK AT ROAD READY. ROAD READY HAD BEEN CALLING ME WEEKLY TO TRY TO SELL ME A 2008 FORD EXPLORER EDDIE BAUER. I MADE THE APPOINTMENT FOR TODAY AT 2:15 WITH JASMINE. SHE HAD CALLED YESTERDAY. I LIVE IN SUFFIELD WHICH IS AN HOUR AND A HALF AWAY. I CALLED THIS MORNING BECAUSE SOME QUESTIONS CROSSED MY MIND AND I DIDN'T WANT TO DRIVE OUT THERE WITHOUT KNOWING THE ANSWERS FIRST. PATRICK CAME ON THE PHONE AND HE TOLD ME THAT THE "TRUCK" IS ALL SET FOR VIEWING. I WANTED TO CLARIFY THAT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT THE SAME VEHICLE BECAUSE I WAS NOT INTERESTED IN A TRUCK, BUT RATHER THE EXPLORER. NO TONE IN MY VOICE, JUST SIMPLE CLARIFICATION. PATRICK GOT DEFENSIVE AND SAID "YES, THE FORD EXPLORER EDDIE BAURER/MAROON. LIKE I SAID, IT IS ALL SET FOR YOU TO SEE". IN SPEAKING WITH PATRICK, I RAISED THE QUESTION OF A WARRANTY POLICY. HE ADVISED THAT DUE TO THE AGE OF THE VEHICLE, IT WOULD BE SOLD AS-IS. HE THEN SAID THAT IF A PROBLEM OCCURRED WITHIN 30 DAYS, "OBVIOUSLY WE WOULD HAVE YOU COME IN AND TRY TO HELP YOU OUT." THIS STATEMENT REALLY WASN'T CLEAR TO ME SO I ASKED IF THEY WOULD PROVIDE A 30 DAY WARRANTY POLICY. HE BECAME VERY DEFENSIVE AND STATED THAT THEY WOULD GET FINED BY THE STATE IF THEY DID THAT." I THEN ASKED IF I WERE TO PUT A DEPOSIT DOWN ON THE VEHICLE, WOULD I BE ABLE TO BRING IT TO MY MECHANIC SO HE COULD TAKE A LOOK AT IT?" PATRICK ADVISED I COULD NOT BUT THAT I AM WELCOME TO BRING MY MECHANIC TO CHECK THE VEHICLE OUT AT THEIR FACILITY. I EXPLAINED THAT MY MECHANIC WOULD LIKELY NOT BE ABLE TO TAKE THE TIME TO MAKE THE 1.5 HR DRIVE UP AND BACK. PATRICK JUST KEPT ON GETTING DEFENSIVE AND ASKED, "SO WHY DIDN'T YOU ASK ME THESE QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU SET UP THIS APPOINTMENT?" I EXPLAINED THAT I JUST THOUGHT OF THEM OVER NIGHT. THE MORE WE WENT ON FROM THERE, WITH HIS CONTINUED TONE TURNING SOUR, I REALIZED THAT THIS WAS NOT GOING TO WORK. I TOLD PATRICK THAT I THINK I AM GOING TO CANCEL THE APPOINTMENT FOR TODAY. HE THEN RESPONDED WITH, "THANKS ALOT DOUG AND HUNG UP." THIS WAS REALLY DISAPPOINTING AS THE VEHICLE LOOKS GREAT. HOWEVER, CUSTOMER SERVICE MEANS EVERYTHING, ESPECIALLY IF ONE WERE TO HAVE TO TAKE 3 HOURS OUT OF THEIR DAY TO GO SEE THE VEHICLE. MY QUESTIONS WERE BASIC QUESTIONS. PATRICK NEEDS TO WORK ON NOT GETTING AGGRAVATED AND DEFENSIVE. THIS COULD'VE POSSIBLY BEEN A SUCCESSFUL SITUATION, BUT HE RUINED IT. BUMMER. More
Sales person Patrick was GREAT! I was in market for buying a new car! I browsed online many dealerships to find a SUV with 3rd row seat and I was mainly looking for Honda pilots which are more reliable and affordable. I reached road ready cars and got in contact with Patrick. From that time on Patrick made sure I get into a car that is perfect for me and my family. He was very professional and easy to work with. he suggested other cars that had 3rd row seating one of them being Acura MDX. He invited me to stop buy and look at the cars and see if I get approved for a loan. The process was easy and quick, road ready cars was the only dealership I visited in person and purchased and signed all the paper works same day. Picked up my car 4 days later after all the service was done and ready to hit the road. So far I'm satisfied with the car and hoping it last us a while. Soon I will be looking for a second car and Patrick will be who I'll come to see... I live an hour away from the dealership but don't mind the drive if I get this kinda service! Thank you Patrick!! Saab story I contacted Road Ready about a 2007 Saab listed online. When I called I was told the vehicle had been sold. A week later I saw the listing again and d I contacted Road Ready about a 2007 Saab listed online. When I called I was told the vehicle had been sold. A week later I saw the listing again and decided to email regarding availability. I then received a response via email and cell indicating that the vehicle was no longer sold and would I like to see. The same day after work I went to dealership to see the car and upon arrival I sat down with sales person and was asked how I would purchase and I responded with "cash." Shortly thereafter I was informed that the vehicle may indeed be already sold and if a check did not arrive by noon the following day it was again not sold. The next day I received a call indicating that the check from other buyer had not arrived however the cost was now $2400 more than the listed price because the other buyer had some "extras" done. I told them I could not pay and additional $2400 and I received a call that they would lower it another $1400 but I would still have to be charged for the rust proofing (mind you this is a ten year old car)I was not agreeable as this was NOT the original asking price. My guess is that when they realized I was not financing the price went up. Would I ever inquire about another car from Road Ready establishment? Absolutely not. Talk about a Saab story.......... Miserable Was promised that my truck would be taken care of, paid extra to have it under payed and the rust removed. Neither was done. Exhaust snapped just over Was promised that my truck would be taken care of, paid extra to have it under payed and the rust removed. Neither was done. Exhaust snapped just over a month after the purchase date on the highway and the roof leaked a small pong into my center console. I would never recommend this " dealer..." to anyone... More
