Totally disgusted I drove 6hrs out of my way to look at a used car they had on their website. The car was as it was listed, the correct trim level, headlight package,se I drove 6hrs out of my way to look at a used car they had on their website. The car was as it was listed, the correct trim level, headlight package,seat style, color,etc. the salesman was very friendly, so we agreed on a price, & he gave me a better deal if I finance thru them, vs pulling out of savings &pay cash. So we agreed on how I wanted it financed. This is where they are DISHONEST . They won’t let me pay extra towards the principal amount, like we had agreed on. Dealing with them has been like gravel in my mouth and dog poop on my dress shoes. Never again will I finance thru them, deal with them. More
Rude, lethargic, slow, doesn't care about customers. Handed my car in to get an airbag issue checked about 2 weeks ago. Service rep said she talked to insurance and they'll be taking a look. Insurance company said they didn't receive any communication from Rivertown Toyota. Talked with insurance and asked service rep to email a quote to insurance company rep. Then reminded her through email, voice mail and then in person. Has been almost a week and still no email. Sent in a complaint to the Service manager and General manager who also haven't responded. Spoke with another manager who refused to even offer an apology but assured me that the email would be sent out and still there hasn't been any updates. This place doesn't seem to care about customers. Update : The Service manager finally emailed the wrong receipt of a repair that was already done 2 months ago. She also didn't have a quote at all. Purchase if u must from Riverside but service somewhere else. Don’t know but this supposedly no charge service is a negetive aspect of the deal. There is no such thing as free. Paid for in advance. No incentive to get it right. Would love to be able to vote with my wallet. Taking service somewhere else. More
Sales experience was great! Service appt not so great. The sales team was on their A game. They new what they were talking about and had the pricing right in line with all of the competitive online prices The sales team was on their A game. Service was a bit different so far. I scheduled an appointment for 12:00 noon. I would expect to wait a bit as they do have to do some work. But I was told it would at least one and a half hours before they could get to it. Then the work. I asked the question, what is the point of an appointment if I have to drop it off and leave it, or wait all day. I didn't get an answer and was made out to be the bad guy. I udnerstood the appointment time was so I could plan to come in, wait for the work (an hourish) then be on my way. If you need service, plan on having to drop it off and leave it, even if just a oil change or tire rotation. It will likely be an all day ordeal. More

I had provided the same feedback in the feedback form that came along. Barely 3-4 months later, my left side back tire went flat. I went to pepboys and they fixed it. For some reason, the air was coming out from near the rim. I went to the dealership this time. They looked into it and tried fixing it. They said the tire would need to be replaced and charged me the price for it. I had to return the next day as the air was still leaking. This time they said the rim also needed to be changed and none of them would be covered for a new car!! I ended up paying approx $400 for both. I made a complaint to Toyota and they also did not help. These guys said that I might have run through a 6 inch pothole. Are they serious that such strong metal rim would bend with a 6 inch pothole?? And if it does, what is the quality of the product? They should have stood by their product and help get it covered!! More

Experience was Amazing I stopped by Friday night out of the blue just to see what was on the lot, and found a 2015 Rav4 that I liked. When I walked in the dealership I was m I stopped by Friday night out of the blue just to see what was on the lot, and found a 2015 Rav4 that I liked. When I walked in the dealership I was met by Mrs. Sonya. She quickly apologized for not being outside on the lot when I pulled up. I actually was glad that I wasn't met by a sells person when I first arrived on the lot, it allowed me a chance to check out the vehicles without having someone pushing me towards something that I wasn't interested in. I decided to test drive the car, and while the car handled well I wasn't sold. I liked it, but it wasn't yelling at me to buy that night. When we got back to the dealership Mrs. Sonya ran the sales price for me even though I wasn't sold on the car. I appreciated that extra step she took, and I never felt pushed to make a decision that night. I asked if I could sleep on my decision and I would call her in the morning, and this wasn't an issue at all for her. Called the next morning and told her that I was interested, but had a few other test drives scheduled for that day. Came back about 3:00 Saturday afternoon and I was met at my car by Mrs. Sonya with the keys for the Toyota for a second test drive. We took off for the test drive and then remembered that I forgot to pick up my dad, who was at home due to a back/shoulder injury that prevented him from spending the day with me for test drives. I told her I needed to return to the dealership and go pick up my dad and then come back to finish the test drive. Mrs. Sonya said don't worry about it, just go pick him up from the house and extend the test drive. Not going to lie, that pretty much sold me right there. Even though I was buying the car for myself, the comfort of my parents was an important deciding factor in everything that I test drove over the course of the month long search for my car. I appreciated that Mrs. Sonya understood the value of family. This was my first purchase of a car and without a doubt I will be sending everyone that I know looking for a car to see Mrs. Sonya at Rivertown Toyota, I hope that management understands what kind of gem they have in this woman. Terrible I recentlty called the service department for an emergency problem. My mother had come for Christmas( 8hour drive) and was headed back only to have se I recentlty called the service department for an emergency problem. My mother had come for Christmas( 8hour drive) and was headed back only to have several warning lights come on about 15 miles down the road. The first call I made the service department hung up on me. When I called back the person answering the phone had no clue as how to answer my questions and told me that all their service technicians were out on calls! Lol! I can’t imagine no one in the shop at a Toyota dealership. When I explained my mother’s situation she said there was nothing they could do and would have someone call me back. It’s been 7 hours and no one called. Needless to say I went to another shop. I will never use Rivertown again for service or any other reason. I do not recommend this place of business to any one. More
