Thank You To Rivertown Subaru, My name is Shannon Gehrke, and on a return trip home, my Forester experienced engine failure and was towed to Rivertown Subaru. I feel beyond fortunate that my vehicle Gehrke, and on a return trip home, my Forester experienced engine failure and was towed to Rivertown Subaru. I feel beyond fortunate that my vehicle was taken to Rivertown. My service representative was Amber Jones. On day one, Amber greeted me with a smile and listened patiently and attentively while I attempted to explain what I had just experienced with my Forester. Amber was professional, compassionate and reassuring. Amber explained that my vehicle would have to remain at Rivertown for repairs, and she was working to provide a loaner vehicle to get me back on the road to Pensacola, FL. Amber not only secured a loaner vehicle, but managed to put me in an Onyx edition Ascent that not only made me feel safe, but was an absolute dream to drive. Over the next few months, Amber worked tirelessly to offer reassurance and to keep me informed every step of the way while the engine in my Forester was replaced. Amber communicated and coordinated with Subaru representatives not only from Rivertown, but from Subaru Corporate and from Anderson Subaru in Pensacola. Her diligence and professionalism during this entire process has been stellar, and I can’t thank her enough for being my calm in the storm. Amber was truly a balm to the stress and anxiety that a major car repair brings. I can’t thank Amber and the Rivertown Service Department enough for their care of me and of my Forester. I was quickly greeted by several employees when I dropped off my car. My main interaction was with Amber, who greeted me warmly and professionally . Soon after I received a text message from Amber outlining the things that needed repair or replacing, the reason why and the estimated cost of each. A few hours later my car was ready for pick up.
