Lack of Service Department I called to schedule an appointment for the recall on my 2010 Edge. To start the lady who answers in the service department is RUDE! I have only gone to this location one other time and the service was less than par then as well. Train your staff better in customer service. When an NHSTA Safety Recall is placed you are required to perform them! I am not required to purchase my vehicle. By the way, treat me badly and be rude to me I will make sure to let everyone I know to visit another Ford Dealership! DO NOT USE Rivertown Ford unless you enjoy rude service and bad attitudes from the employees! STAY AWAY!! More

Williams and Service Manager Scott Cornwell haven’t heard a response from either COWARD—-Had 2015 F350 serviced last Saturday. Service Advisor Mark Bait was a class act. Represent the company very well. Truck shut down on me a few miles from the dealership. Due to Service technician no fully connecting top fuel line. It was a mess full of diesel fuel on engine and ground. Vehicle shutdown. New oil filter was filthy. I assume it’s was a new oil filter. Overspill oil wasn’t cleaned up. Tech put 65lbs of air pressure in rear tires. Instead of topping off at 80. Stay the xxxx away. Mistakes will happen. Unfortunately at this dealership no one steps up to correct them. More

I have 2010 Ford Raptor for 8 years now and I've always taken it in for its recommended service at Ford Service Department. The Rivertown Ford in Columbus Ga, service department is the worst service I've ever had in my life. They left 4 out of 6 lug nuts off of my right rear tire and nearly caused a life threating situation. I took it back immediately and spoke with Scott the service manager and he said they would fix it right up. Offered to replace the wheel for free and then ordered me 3 more without my approval and put them on without telling me the total price for three more wheels. When I confronted them about it and even tried to meet them half way they said they wouldn't budge and Scott the service manager said we will put your old wheels back on to include the one they damaged by leaving the lug nuts off and said I quote "you can have your wheels and I never want to see you and your truck back at this shop." "You are just trying to get free stuff from us." I have never played the system with Ford and have all of my receipt for every service. I highly recommend you stay away from this service department, absolutely absurd and disappointing that Ford allows this kind of customer service to Ford owners. Your Blue Oval treatment is not honored here at Rivertown Ford. More

No good I would not take my vehicle to this place ever again they kept my truck 3 months and still could not tell me what was wrong with it they just kept wan I would not take my vehicle to this place ever again they kept my truck 3 months and still could not tell me what was wrong with it they just kept wanting to replace this and that just guessing hoping that something would fix it then I called one day and they said that the technician did not know what was wrong with it that he had to call another ford place to ask another technician and he Did not know either so I went and got my truck still broke down and take it somewhere else and cost me $ 2,000 dollars for them not figuring out what was wrong. Another sub par experience from the service department. Had an appointment at 130 to have a brake control module connected to my trucks computer. I should've known better due to past experience. 4 hours later...when I am told my truck was ready they only had an hour and a half on labor time charged. I have yet to have a good experience with the service department here and will only take it to their service department if it is my last choice. More

Three problems associated with dealership. Purchased 2 vehicles from 'Rivertown Ford (not at the same time) Both times had trouble getting the title, First time I was given a copy of the titl Purchased 2 vehicles from 'Rivertown Ford (not at the same time) Both times had trouble getting the title, First time I was given a copy of the title application, but it was never mailed to the state until I called and ask them to do so. The 2nd purchase I was not given a copy of the title application and could not buy my tag until after repeated calls I was faxed one, Also was slow mailing the title application to the state. Before I had driven the truck 150 miles the check engine light came on, I had the code checked and was told it was emission vacuum leak and they reset the code. Drove about 150 miles after refueling and the light came on again. I took the truck to another Ford dealer and they had to repair a hose which a pest of some kind had chewed a hole in the line. I cannot prove it but I think the code was reset without testing the lines. This was an old chewed line, not a fresh one. I accepted the fact there was no warranty when I purchased the truck. Also I was told untruths about the truck being a non-smoking vehicle and also about the third title owner. More
