This was one of the easiest, most stress-free experiences I have had when buying a new vehicle. The primary reason is salesperson Sabrina Matthis. This was the worst experience ever. I’ll never purchase from RiverTown Ford again. Had issues with the vehicle from the day 1. Reached out to salesman, he advised I bring it to him, rea I’ll never purchase from RiverTown Ford again. Had issues with the vehicle from the day 1. Reached out to salesman, he advised I bring it to him, reassured me all was well. Few days later same issue, took back, drove it together, was told nothing was wrong. Reached out a week later, dropped vehicle off, was told tech couldn’t find anything wrong. Continued to reach out about issues with vehicle. The last time I went through the service department directly, explained concerns only to find out never documented concerns, no history of full inspection prior to sale nor that I brought it in for one after purchase, and I was now responsible for all repairs. When I advised that I’d previously brought the vehicle back, they responded there was no record so I am responsible. Reached out to sales and was told that it was internal therefore service could not see the prior entries. Sales would not cover the repairs, they said due to being over 90 day, I informed that it was less then 90 days. Then they said well over 30 days. I advised I brought the vehicle back up there prior to 30 days multiple times. They responded they have no record even though I was able to show them the message history and call history. There were several lies and gaps in communication and the burden fell on me. Thought I purchased a reliable vehicle for my family only to have transmission and several other issues from the time of purchase. The service assistant assigned to me was very understanding and tried to get sales to cover the repairs but no luck She even pulled an internal reviewer who also advised that now of my previous visit or complaints were formally documented. One you purchase, the sales department no longer cares and you see a different side of them. More
