They care more about a lunch break than work. Went in for a oil change and they explained I was the last vehicle before lunch break. I was standing outside, and I saw several techs standing around Went in for a oil change and they explained I was the last vehicle before lunch break. I was standing outside, and I saw several techs standing around my truck and climbing on it. I heard one say "just let it go", so i asked what was going on. They explained they dropped a "bolt" in my engine bay. Before I finished up, I made the associate notate the issue for my sake. I left, and immediately turned around to head back after talking to a personal friend that is a service manager in South Georgia. I then came back to the dealership. After I explained it needed to be fixed, they agreed. After resolving the issue, I was informed it was a SOCKET. Not a bolt. If they didn't drop it in my engine bay, say screw it when it was time to go to lunch, and allow me to leave, it wouldn't be an issue. Instead, they left for lunch, told me it was a bolt, and allowed me to leave with the assurance "it will fall out when you are driving". To be a service professional, you should definitely know the difference between a bolt and a socket. I am perplexed as to why I was allowed to leave. More
