Great Sales person at Riverhead Toyota I worked with a up front, down to earth, straight forward salesman who listened to me. This has not been my experience at many other dealers I had been to over the very same weekend. A no BS deal was struck with enjoyment and pleasure and no pressure. The managers and owners of this dealership should be proud to have salesman like Charles Mburu on staff I thank them. I would recommend others to go to this dealership even though it is out of my way and possible out of theirs to get the better service. More

Poor customer service - UPDATED Had to leave a message for service to setup safety recall for my 2010 Prius. Two hours later, no call back, so I called again and was told it would ta Had to leave a message for service to setup safety recall for my 2010 Prius. Two hours later, no call back, so I called again and was told it would take 8 hours while I wait for Toyota to perform the work. When I pressed and told them when I lived in Wantagh, 2 Nassau County dealers told me 2 hours. I then got an answer of 3 hour wait which is unacceptable. No explanation given as to why in Nassau it takes 2 hours to fix and in Riverhead, the same repair takes 3 hours. As I result, I will not have the service done. Never going back to RIverhead Toyota for service or a new car. UPDATE: within 10 minutes of my Yelp review post (same as above), management reached out to me and rectified the situation. More

one price quote in an email, another price on paperwork - This email went completely unanswered by both the Manager and Owner Dear Mr. Lucki, Upon reading the information in the file of papers I left wi This email went completely unanswered by both the Manager and Owner Dear Mr. Lucki, Upon reading the information in the file of papers I left with, earlier this week, and reviewing the emails sent to me, I decided to write directly to you, the owner. I’m sure you can look up my correspondence with Arlene. My dad and I had been shopping around for some time, using True Car and visiting dealerships. We were upfront with everyone, not interested in playing games, just looking to buy the car from the dealer willing to let it go at the lowest cost. I am sure you won’t be surprised this was a very frustrating experience as not every car had every exact option, thus differing pricing. AND what I wanted, no CP package, didn’t exist with any Prius 4 on LI. I ultimately came to your dealership as we had the best price quote, and we used you for serving my 2010 Prius. Sadly, it turns out “Arlene” the online person had made a “math error” and the quote I had was wrong. Wrong by about $3000. Suddenly my car for 29k was 32k. Sitting with “Jamie” I didn’t realize exactly how off it was as he had included my $500. deposit and my $500 coupon post card, where as her numbers obviously did not. At this point I just wanted the car, and Jamie was not like the “other" sales persons I had encountered along the way. I did however reach back out to Arlene, pointing out what had happened and requested that she or the manager throw in some easy throw in’s, like “all weather mats”. Dealer cost….$100? I was later told by Jamie that the “Manager” said no. I wanted to “Gap insurance”, and asked if this could be thrown in. “NO” the “Manager” said no, not at this price. So now I am writing to you. “Not at this price”? The car was almost $33,000. This dealership can’t throw in a few things worth about $100 each? Not my idea of customer service. “Your satisfaction means a lot”. Good. Glad to hear it. So before sharing my story with others, and writing reviews of “less than excellent”, I thought I would see what you thought of how your dealership “Manager” handled Arlene’s “ERROR”. Thank you.
