I recently purchased a 2012 Prius V from Riverhead Toyota. My salesman was Walter Migliore. Thanks to Walter, the whole experience of finding the best car for me was easy and enjoyable. I wasn't in a hurry, so I did explore other car options at other dealerships. I was back at Toyota after finding no other hybrid that met my needs and price range. Walter took me on two test drives....explaining the car's features and answering my many questions. He was knowledgable and very kind. Walter sincerely wanted me to be happy in my decision and never "pushed" for me to buy the car. It has been a week and I am very happy with my new Prius V. I was amazed that Walter even followed up on the purchase from his hospital room, where he is in ICU. He is an EXCELLENT asset to Riverhead Toyota and will be highly recommended to my friends and family. More

He was very understanding and everything he said was clear and concise. Ted then put me in the capable hands of Dan Meehan. With great enthusiasm to help me buy my first car, he made it happen. i can see why ted hired Dan for he showed the same great qualities as himself. The staff made everything so easy from financing (Peter Fournaris) to dealing with the dmv for plates, i was able to drive away that day with my new 2011 corolla. i would and will always recommend riverhead Toyota More
I purchased a 2007 Scion Tc on 11/29/11. They verbally agreed to a price and we shook hands on it, but then they changed the agreed upon price on the finance contract. I went there by myself and feel they took advantage of an older woman alone. By the end of the day I was so exhausted that I took their word on the price and unfortunately signed the contract without fully understanding it. I should have brought someone with me to the dealership. I realized the next day that I was grossly overcharged for the car. They only gave me $554 for the trade in of my 2000 Echo which only had 83,000 miles on it instead of the $2,500 they promised me and what it was worth. Then a little over 2 weeks later I decided I didn't like the 2007 Scion. It was uncomfortable, the doors were too heavy and it hurt my back getting in and out of it. So after only having the car a little over 2 weeks, I asked Riverhead Toyota if they could make a deal to trade it in for a brand new 2011 Toyota Corolla S. Originally they agreed on a price of $14,500 for the Scion, so with the $500 down and the $2,500 trade-in for my 2000 Echo the sale price should have been $11,500 plus the reg. fee and doc fee. Instead it cost me over $17,000 for a car that I later found out only had a blue book value of $10,500, which is all that they would offer me for a trade in even though they had just charged me over $17,000. I feel the treatment I received from Riverhead Toyota was unconscionable. More
Riverhead Toyoto was the first dealership I went to and knew from the minute I walked in to Riverhead Toyota that this would be the place I would buy my car. The people were very nice and helpful. I confess that I ordinarily shun salespeople who come on too strongly so, you can imagine my delight in finding a salesperson with a low key, patient manner. We will be in the market for another vehicle, for my husband, within six months; I have already spoken with Mr Meehan about handling that transaction for us. Further, I would not hesitate to recommend Dan Meehan to any friend or colleague looking to buy a car, he is a pleasure to do business with. More
We walked into Riverhead Toyota to look at the Venza. We happened to be greeted by Hugo, a salesman you brought in for the week sale. He showed us whatever we wanted to see, answered all of our questions and we were convinced that it was time to trade our 2008 Maxima in for a 2011 Highlander. We think it was a great decision and we enjoyed Hugo and his partner. They were a lovely couple. We will definitely be life long Toyota owners and recommend Toyota to everyone. I originally went in for the 30k mile service on my 2009 Highlander. I had been getting solicitations from the original dealer that I leased the car from (Millineum Toyota) so I enquired when I arrived to t Highlander. I had been getting solicitations from the original dealer that I leased the car from (Millineum Toyota) so I enquired when I arrived to the Riverhead Dealership for service about the deals on a new car. I live out by the Riverhead Dealership so this is where we service out car. The solicitations that I was receiving from the old dealership were offering a 2012 Highlander for over $600 per month - however, after a few minutes with the salesman that was helping me (Jay), we figured that I could trade in my existing car 7 months early and get a new lease while SAVING over $100 per month on my payment without ONE penny out of my pocket. The experience was extremely easy, there was NO pressure or hassle and both Jay and his manager went out of their way to see where they could save me money. The new car is a dream - and a MAJOR upgrade and I will save over $3600 over the next 3 years. I'm glad that I went to Riverhead Toyota and didn't go back to the original dealership that I first purchased my car. I highly recommend this dealerhship. More
