I am gladly writing this review. After a horrible experience with Smithtown Toyota and their games (I was a repeat buyer of there as well), and then stopping at Sunrise Toyota and having no results t experience with Smithtown Toyota and their games (I was a repeat buyer of there as well), and then stopping at Sunrise Toyota and having no results there as well, I decided to give Riverhead Toyota a try. I was met by a very pleasant receptionist who then had me meet my sales person Fran Colon. I immediately formed a wonderful bond with Fran and felt very confident that she would come through for me with a great deal. Fran is a wonderful and honest person who treated my like I was one of the family, and I truly feel like I am now a part of the Riverhead Toyota family. I feel that I will be a long time customer of Fran's and look forward to buying from her and the dealership as well. Do not hesitate to go there and ask for Fran and tell her that you read my rating of the dealership on this site! I leased a beautiful "Red" hot Prius C, this was my second Prius that I have owned. Next year I will be another Prius from Fran once my 2011 Mercedes E class lease is up. Thanks, Steve T. More
I don't write long reviews. Our experience with both Frances Colon and Chris Weitz was as good as any that my wife and I have had in our long experience buying automobiles, and better than most. On top of what we thought was an 'excellent' sales experience we needed some additional follow up/help with a couple of items not directly related to the sale, and these were given most graciously and promptly. Would we buy from Riverhead Toyota and Frances Colon again? YES! More

My daughter bought a new 2007 Prius from another Toyota dealership and the battery went dead in a matter of 2months.We called Riverhead Toyota and they towed the vehicle,replaced the battery and there was dealership and the battery went dead in a matter of 2months.We called Riverhead Toyota and they towed the vehicle,replaced the battery and there was no charge even though we didn't have towing in our warranty. My salesperson, Fran Colon, was, by far, the best salesperson I have ever dealt with. I was dealing with quite a few other dealerships from several manufacturers. Fran was amazing in her expertise, salesperson I have ever dealt with. I was dealing with quite a few other dealerships from several manufacturers. Fran was amazing in her expertise, professionalism, personality and negotiation. As a matter of fact, as a direct result of Fran, I recommended two other people to her who enjoyed the same experience and bought the vehicles. I will continue to do so. Car shopping is one of my least favorite activities and anytime I have to shop for a new car, I dread it like the plague. I decided I wanted to buy a Toyota Prius because of the great fuel economy and bec anytime I have to shop for a new car, I dread it like the plague. I decided I wanted to buy a Toyota Prius because of the great fuel economy and because it is one of the few vehicles that is allowed on the LIE-HOV lane with only the driver. My husband and I walked into Toyota of Riverhead, and were greeted by Jay Scholl. Jay told us all about the car, answered all our questions, and immediately allowed us to take a test drive. We did not have an appointment and it was a very busy weekend in the showroom. The test drive convinced me that I wanted a Prius. We then sat down with Jay and discussed pricing. We were given a great price for the car. It took about an hour from the time we walked into the showroom, to completion of the sale! In all my years of buying cars, I have never had such a wonderful and easy experience. Jay was pleasant, charming, and not the typical pushy, high pressure salesman. Three days later I drove my car out of the showroom. However, before I left, Jay pointed out all the features and strongly encouraged me to stop by the dealership if I had any questions. It is great to know that I have a truly customer oriented car dealership close to my home. Thank you Jay! More

Too often it seems that people report on negative customer service experiences, but fail to adequately praise the positive ones. I recently had such a positive experience with Mike Hamill in the serv customer service experiences, but fail to adequately praise the positive ones. I recently had such a positive experience with Mike Hamill in the service department. Mike went above and beyond what other managers typically do to correct my issues. I had some minor problems with a certified Toyota I purchased there a year earlier, and he stood behind the car to make things right. Thanks, Mike, for taking a bad experience initially and eventually turning it into a positive one. You make Riverhead Toyota a better dealership! More
