i purchased a pre-owned Hundai in May. Later i received a bill for Motor Vehicle charges. I sent a check for $118.50. Unfortunately, i made a mistake with my checking account (never did this before). the c bill for Motor Vehicle charges. I sent a check for $118.50. Unfortunately, i made a mistake with my checking account (never did this before). the check was returned on June 20th. i contacted the accounting dept. immediately and spoke to Stacy. i told her my daughter would come in and pay cash, so please do not redeposit the check. on Thursday, June 23rd the check was redeposited and i was charged another $30. So i stopped in and asked that i get reimbursed the $30. I saw Vito Ilardi, the Hundai Mgr. he told me he had to speak to someone and would get back to me, he didn't. i left him 3 messages and he did not respond. This past Monday, July 18th, i faxed a letter to Frank Ventimiglia, the manager of the Mall and explained i was upset, Vito doesn't even return my calls. No response. i faxed the letter again on Tuesday - no response. So yesterday i went in to see Mr. Ventimiglia. He was very rude, mean, insulting. he told me he would not eat the $30, that i shouldn't write bad checks, insinuating that i intentionally write bad checks, it was a mistake. the point is, didn't Stacy have time to contact the bank and make sure that check wasn't redeposited?? She has no way of contacting the bank?? he would not even listen, he was very nasty and insulting, as i walked away he yelled, "don't write bad checks". i will NEVER go there again. And i will tell everyone I know about this experience and how disgusting Mr. Ventimiglia was to me! For $30???? unbelievable I was so upset, i didn't even ask him if he thought it was rude of him and Mr. Ilardi to not return someone's phonecalls/faxes. I paid a lot of money there for that car, and deserved to be treated better than that! he treated me like i was a criminal! I would like to know who Mr. Ventimiglia's superior is. He should know how he treats people, so please make sure that person sees this. Margaret Lowry More
Working with this dealership was a nightmare; every cliché about dishonest car salesmen and sleazy finance managers brought to life. Picture the scene in the movie "Fargo" where the character Jerry Lun cliché about dishonest car salesmen and sleazy finance managers brought to life. Picture the scene in the movie "Fargo" where the character Jerry Lundegaard tries to sell the hapless couple on undercoating after the price was negotiated and you'll get the picture. I've purchased many new cars over the years and I have to say this was, by far, the worst experience I've ever had. On a brighter note, I do love the '11 Elantra I purchased, just wish I had gotten it from another dealership. More
Everyone at the dealership was very pleasant and helpful. I liked that they spoke to me and not to my boyfriend, since I was the one purchasing the car. I liked that they spoke to me and not to my boyfriend, since I was the one purchasing the car. More
Went to this dealership a little skeptical based on reviews that I read online but decided to give it a try anyway. When arriving Kevin seemed decently nice, although a little bit shady. Gave him all m reviews that I read online but decided to give it a try anyway. When arriving Kevin seemed decently nice, although a little bit shady. Gave him all my information, and told me numerous times to come in and talk about rates and what car i was approved for. Every time i went in, it was another story, and reason why they didn't know whether i was approved or not, and finally told me i needed a proof of residence in order for them to tell me what i was approved for. Being i had just moved, i was waiting for new proof of residence to match my license. I called numerous times and spoke to some nasty salesmen that were frustrated because I kept calling and Kevin wasn't there almost every time. After about two weeks, i said forget it because it was just taking way too long. He called me about two weeks later asking me what the deal was and what i was doing I told him i had some personal issues and that i could no longer go along with the deal. He got extremely nasty and said "thanks for the call". Proceeded to be nasty, said some words and hung up on me. Overall: Dealership is very unprofessional, shady and I do not believe they are doing the right thing. More
Bought a Nissan because they are supposed to be "reliable" cars. Had a problem with the car, something that is not supposed to go wrong until well over 100,000 miles and my car did not have half th "reliable" cars. Had a problem with the car, something that is not supposed to go wrong until well over 100,000 miles and my car did not have half those miles. Car is not even three years old yet and is just out of warranty because it is over the miles. The repair is going to cost a lot and this is the third Nissan we have purchased from them. Originally when we called, they offered to take off some of the charges for the bill, but once they found out that I did not take my car to their service department whenever I got an oil change they refused to do anything to help. My family has a friend who is a mechanic so we try to support the local businessmen. We will also be supporting the local businessmen to get this problem fixed because I would rather give them the money and support than a huge dealership who will do nothing to help their customers. Riverhead Nissan is also very over priced and you can go to almost any other dealership to get a better price. My friend was looking at Nissan's and I suggested she go to Nissan 112 and she did and got a much lower price for her vehicle. More
