I went into Riverhead looking for a car. It was New Years Eve, the dealership was ready to close. The saleswoman Jenae was extremely friendly and HONEST! She called me on Wednesday and I told her I needed more time to think about the vehicle to make sure I was not acting on impulse. I told her they could sell the car if they needed to. She assured me she would wait for me to make my decision and the car would be mine if I still wanted it. Because of her patience I got the car the next day! I was in a bad car accident in my very old Toyota & came into Riverhead Nissan JUST to look at another Sedan, no intentions of buying that day. In fact I had never even seen a Nissan Rogue! Susan listened carefully & understood my needs and also my fears of getting into another vehicle after my terrible accident. We took a test drive in the Rogue & I fell in LOVE!! She was right, it fit like a glove! Then I planned on financing and she asked me if I had ever considered a Lease before. Truth be told I was dead set against it! She broke down the entire Leasing process & I never realized what a wonderful thing it really was! To my surprise I ended up getting my very 1st brand new vehicle as a Lease!!! She & Francois were both so coopertive & informative I could not ask for a better experience. They followed through on every promise they made and I was so happy to leave in my brand new car! I was happy with the final cost of my vehicle and she made promises to fix the small issues I wanted addressed. For example I requested that my new Nissan Pathfinder was flat bedded into dealership with less than 10 miles. The last time I bought a new vehicle it had 89 miles when I drove off the lot which was upsetting to me. Marlene took care of my request with no problem. I received my new Pathfinder before Xmas. She was kind enough to call me after Xmas as a follow up to see how holidays were with family and of course how my new ride was doing. For the first time buying a vehicle I didn’t feel like a #(number) walking into dealership. I think that’s important today in every industry. A simple act of kindness goes a long way in my book and Nissan should be proud to have a sales rep like Marlene representing them. Matthew really did a wonderful job getting me the right car at the best price; he was really attentive, listened carefully, addressed all of my concerns and questions, and took the time to explain everything clearly and carefully to me. I've never had this type of experience shopping for a car in the past, and it really made a world of difference.
