Salesmen Nice, Finance Guy VERY SNEAKY - Watch Your Tail I bought a car in 2016. I don't have great credit and was able to find a decent car at this dealer. Upon meeting with Doug the "finance guy" I was t I bought a car in 2016. I don't have great credit and was able to find a decent car at this dealer. Upon meeting with Doug the "finance guy" I was told that I was approved with one thing...i had to use a third party company to make my payments to wells fargo...otherwise i couldn't get the loan. I tried avoiding this but he told me explicitly that my credit was so bad that no bank would accept my loan unless i paid this third party company 2 times a month! Turns out, he's a LIAR. Wells Fargo called me later that week and I asked about his third party company. They said "we would never deny you based on how you pay us". Needless to say I cancelled the third party company which he obviously gets a kick back from and i have been paying no problem directly to the bank. Think this is a one time thing? WRONG! My mother JUST bought a car this Monday from DOUG. She was told not only does she need to use this third party company as well - but that Ally Bank won't finance her unless she adds a $6,000 extended warranty on the car. That's right, an extra $6,000 on a car that still has a manufacturers warranty. No only did he tell her this, but already had the agreement typed up for her to sign which contained this extra program. One call to Ally Bank this afternoon affirms that both are LIES! BLATENT LIES! They too said they would never demand a third party pay program to accept you for a loan - and that by LAW they can't deny you a loan without buying the warranty. This man RUINS this dealerships reputation. The sales team are great but once you get into this guy's office it's unreal! Not to mention they tell you "oh no, that guy's no longer with the company" like they told me upon explaining what happened to myself a year earlier. guess what...he's still there and he's added another FAKE demand to your invoice. Read EVERYTHING. Sign NOTHING. And when unacceptable terms are brought to the table - ask DOUG to get the person on the phone that he spoke with at your bank that told him you need a warranty or third party biller. I GUARANTEE he can't. or "they're out to lunch" or "they work a different day". This guy is a scam and I will NEVER go back to these people even for a tire valve cap. Steer farrrrr from them. And if they are reading this - you should be ashamed! More

A Good Holiday Start I have purchased a few vehicles from other dealerships but Riverhead has been the best all around for sales and service. I only wish my past car exper I have purchased a few vehicles from other dealerships but Riverhead has been the best all around for sales and service. I only wish my past car experiences at the other dealerships had been half as good. My time is important to me and I hate to have it wasted by anyone that is not giving me what I am looking for. The staff at Riverhead helped me select the a vehicle I wanted, completed all the paperwork required to allow me to drive out with it, and even dealt with the rental I was driving.
