Well let's see, been here since 10:20, actually early for my 10:30 appt...it's now 1:35 and they haven't even looked at my car..I was of course told by Steve from service dept2 hours ago my car was second in my 10:30 appt...it's now 1:35 and they haven't even looked at my car..I was of course told by Steve from service dept2 hours ago my car was second in line to go in. Now they tell me they're short 2 technicians so should be done by 3. Hate incompetence...last time I'm here for service, shame too because the buying experience a month ago was so pleasant. Don't come here for service. Wasting my day here. It is now 3:13 and I'm getting my car back...they fixed what had to be fixed but I can't wait for them to check rattle in rear...will get it done by different jeep dealer. Like I said get it done elsewhere. More
No hidden costs or pushing to upsell. All paperwork done efficiently and properly. Salesman honest with excellent follow thru. Experience painless and very pleasant. I am now driving the vehicle I truly wan efficiently and properly. Salesman honest with excellent follow thru. Experience painless and very pleasant. I am now driving the vehicle I truly wanted, my trade in portion was stress free, and the price was what I was seeking. I enjoyed my Salesman Derrick as he was straight forward and did exactly what he said he would do. The staff was friendly and made the process most pleasant. The only issue I have with Riverdale Chrysler Jeep is that you don't have your service department open on Saturday. I would like to do my service then. Don't like to wait on a car line for service at 7:00 AM weekdays as it carves into my workday. I have to get my service done elsewhere where as weekends are much more workable. More
DO NOT USE THIS DEALER! Bought a new car, had multiple problems and was eventually bribed to not write a bad review! Well, it's been 6 months with more problems and still have not received what was promis problems and was eventually bribed to not write a bad review! Well, it's been 6 months with more problems and still have not received what was promised by Sales Manager... Was lied to multiple times and last phone conversation eneded with phone hung up on me by Bobby the Sales Manager. All I wanted was what was sold and promised to me - I'm not an unreasonable customer. Service department has also not been able to fix any one of the problems I've had with the car - had to take to another dealer to get problems fixed. Stay away! There are many other dealers within relative short distance (not Eastchester, same owner who also won't respond...). More
The only good part of my experience was the sales person. She was very helpful & tried her hardest to get me what I wanted. However... when it came down to it, the initial advertisement for the vehicle was She was very helpful & tried her hardest to get me what I wanted. However... when it came down to it, the initial advertisement for the vehicle was incorrect by stating it had every power option. However, no power seats... the model listed as pathfinder LE .. online info with the vehicle listed ALL the options & features the LE models had, however this was the "Basic" model of the LE & didn't have any. So realizing that's why the price was so reasonable, I still liked the vehicle do to the very low mileage... after coming to an agreement on the price & trade in, the sales contract was drawn up... then the hidden costs came out !!! $595 for "dealer prep fees"-- when ased what this was, they claim to get the vehicle ready for sale (shouldn't that have been reflected in the listing price?!)then additional loan processing fees $300 -- all taxable -- so all of a sudden list price increased by $1000 .... then find out "hassles" of buying a vehicle in New York & living in PA ... inspection, registration, etc... then 90 day warranty that dealer offers, if anything needs to be repaired, I have to driver over 2 hours back on whatever is wrong with the vehicle back to them to have repaired;would not have authorized garage or dealer here repair & then reimburse the cost. Was told by manager "this is how it's done in New York and there's nothing he can do about it" .. How about working with the customer & try to make the experience a good one & take responsibility for any mishap that you should be responsible for without having to cause any more inconvience to the customer. I am not an easy person to impress, at all - especially dealing with car salesmen. I have to admit, Bobby was professional, knowledgeable and really worked dilgently with me for my wants, needs and most i dealing with car salesmen. I have to admit, Bobby was professional, knowledgeable and really worked dilgently with me for my wants, needs and most importantly - the VERY best price. It was more like working with an old, wonderful friend than a car salesman. As someone that DREADS the car buying process, Bobby made it painless and convenient for me. The customer service was exemplary and it actually was an enjoyable process. He understood what I wanted, what I was looking for and really went above and beyond any previous experience I ever had to insure I walked out of that dealership happy, and I walked out THRILLED. I would HIGHLY recommend Riverdale to ANYONE looking to buy a car. You won't be sorry you did. More
This was by far the most pleasant experience I've ever had at a dealership. Margie was very helpful in finding me a Wrangler...I didn't think I could afford the Unlimited Rubicon but Margie and her boss B had at a dealership. Margie was very helpful in finding me a Wrangler...I didn't think I could afford the Unlimited Rubicon but Margie and her boss Bobby made it happen..interest rate and monthly payments were more than comfortable for me. I was scarred by the Jeep dealership in Little Falls after they literally lied and screwed me over..and had the nerve to call me back a year later to do business again!!! But dealerships like Riverdale Jeep are a sight for sore eyes. Just good people. I will definitely go back and do business again. And recommend it to everyone:) More
I bought my Chrysler there - good experience, but DO NOT TRUST THEIR SERVICE PEOPLE. They will rip you off. Go anywhere else - really bad. They told me an unbelievable story about why I needed work costing TRUST THEIR SERVICE PEOPLE. They will rip you off. Go anywhere else - really bad. They told me an unbelievable story about why I needed work costing twice what it originally should have. When I pointed out this made no sense, they told me a series of mutually exclusive and contradictory explanations to try to explain . Unfortunately for them their original lie was based on something they did not know could not be true. Just really comical lying. UNTRUSTWORTHY, WILL TRY TO RIP YOU OFF ANYWAY THEY CAN. I was lucky to catch them because of the circumstances. If you had any work done here, go over your records carefully and if there are any doubts call Chrysler's complaint line, they will be very responsive. I spoke to several people who had work there and all had stories. Ive been advising them to call Chrysler. They have a growing file of these guys, hopefully. Complaints matter in their future as a dealership (chrysler let go 24% of its dealerships a few years back and had an eventual target of 45% in its bankruptcy petition). This service dept deserves attention. It is a throw back to the rip off shops which gave chrysler such a bad reputation before the bailout.. Disgraceful. More
When we walked in the door no one tried to help us. We had to actually go from desk to desk searching for someone that was available. We were interested in a new 2012 model and were shown a 2008 used car had to actually go from desk to desk searching for someone that was available. We were interested in a new 2012 model and were shown a 2008 used car (because the car could not be found at that time). We waited for about an hour to see the newer model, which they said was in another lot. We were then told it was still not available. Overall, we were disappointed in our experience. More
