HORRIBLE SERVICE DEPARTMENT I am supposed to get 5 free tune-ups for my 2016 4Runner - which I bought and am paying a lot of money for. When I brought it in for my 15,000 tune-up I am supposed to get 5 free tune-ups for my 2016 4Runner - which I bought and am paying a lot of money for. When I brought it in for my 15,000 tune-up I also needed an inspection. They told me the system was down so I had to go to Mavis after the tune-up for a separate inspection. For my 20,000 tune-up I called in advance to schedule my appointment. They confirmed both via email and voicemail a day in advance, but when I showed up they refused to honor my appointment and told me it would be a 2-hour wait; There were about 2- other people waiting around for their vehicles. I had come up from the city so I did not have time to wait around, and now I have to go to Mavis and pay for a tune-up that should have been free. They did not apologize or care about my frustration. They should reimburse me for all of my Mavis expenses, given that the free tune-ups were part of the purchase negotiation. I wonder if Mariano knows how horribly mis-managed his service department is and how it's impacting his now tarnished reputation. More
