Fix Seat and Window Recalls and Water Pump Replaced I had two of the Toyota product recalls fixed and while in service was informed that my water pump needed replacement. Fortunately, I have a 100K war I had two of the Toyota product recalls fixed and while in service was informed that my water pump needed replacement. Fortunately, I have a 100K warranty which covered the water pump, including labor. I had to pay $106 for a belt, which was not covered. The Service Advisor, Ronald Odegaard, offered a loaner car which was excellent. It served as a "test drive". The loaner was a 2017 Highlander. I loved it. Now I'm trying to see how I can afford it. Service was easy and quick. So far my RAV4 is running fine. More

Negative experience with both sales and service I bought a certified used Toyota from Rivera. I noted that was a broken part and I asked that it be fixed before I picked up the car. I checked with I bought a certified used Toyota from Rivera. I noted that was a broken part and I asked that it be fixed before I picked up the car. I checked with the salesman the day before and he said the repair had been done. The day I came to get the car, it turned out that their service department "repaired" the problem by stapling the part onto the car. This is not a proper repair and the part immediately fell off when it was touched in the dealership lot.. Hey, don't worry, they said, we'll take care of it, just bring it back, no problem. I did bring it back MULTIPLE TIMES. Each time, they notified me that it was fixed, and each time, it was not fixed properly. When I would show the service manager on duty, they would agree that the repair was not done properly, but seemed uninterested, as if multiple attempts for each small repair was a routine thing. No one took ownership of the problem, and when I would call and ask them to check before I made yet another trip down, they said they checked... but it was not fixed and I would make a trip for nothing. I did not live near the dealership so it was nearly 2 hours out of my day each time I thought I was picking up a repaired car and then going home without it. And none of the service managers ever apologized when I wasted my time coming to pick up a car that had STILL not been repaired. It took them 3 separate tries to fix this small thing and they treated me poorly during the process. A general manager there did apologize and promised an extra free service but the service department said they never were told about this and then the manager would not return phone calls, so all in all I felt that once I handed over my money for the car, they felt no obligation to fulfill their promise to fix this problem. If they can't do a small and simple repair correctly without three tries, I pity anyone who needs a more serious repair done at Rivera Toyota. When shopping there, i noticed some other repairs needed on cars for sale, so whoever preps the certified cars is very careless. If you go there, check the car you are considering VERY carefully and don't give them any money until the car is correctly fixed. Don't take their word for anything. I was very sorry I had bought the car from this dealership and I will never purchase from them again. More
Friendly and trustworthy I took my daughter's car in for the annual inspection and because she had a parking assist warning light come on the day before. The morning we went t I took my daughter's car in for the annual inspection and because she had a parking assist warning light come on the day before. The morning we went the warning was gone and the dealership explained it was likely caused by snow and ice blocking the sensor. Others dealers might have charged a lot of money to "repair" the non-problem. The also took care of a recall issue on the rear-hatch. The car was ready when promised and the total cost was $10 for the inspection. I previously took the cart to a different dealer and had a horrible experience. I will take the car to Rivera Toyota from now on. They have Sunday hours too! More
