My salesman, Christian was thoughtful and answered my questions and showed me many options. But most importantly, Christian listened and didn’t complicate my requests. Finance also listened and didn’t co questions and showed me many options. But most importantly, Christian listened and didn’t complicate my requests. Internet sales Adrian and Adam Rosepink are both professional and easy to deal with. Loved my experience and will recommend Right Toyota. professional and easy to deal with. Loved my experience and will recommend Right Toyota. More
The vehicle I purchased never went through the PDI process, and the PDI checklist is still in the glovebox untouched and not signed off on. The vehicle I am also pretty sure never got their dealership process, and the PDI checklist is still in the glovebox untouched and not signed off on. The vehicle I am also pretty sure never got their dealership tint or door cup guards and just has the factory guards and factory privacy glass. The day after purchasing the vehicle I noticed a gouge on the edge of the door (looks like it came from a vehicle lift in the shop or in transport). I would have likely noticed this on the day of purchase had it not been raining and gloomy. I took a photo and sent it to Toyota Engagement, knowing that the dealership would just say too bad even though they never did a pre-delivery inspection. Toyota told me to contact the dealer anyways so I did. Surprisingly I got a voicemail and a call from the salesman, Dominic, saying he spoke to his boss and they'd handle it, it looks like some swirls and is common. I explained no, the photo clearly shows the gouge not just swirls, at which point you could hear in the salesman's voice that it may have been a mistake to call me and agree to fix this. I was told they would set up to have the vehicle to go Raintree Auto Body and they'd get back to me after speaking to Mike over there. To no surprise, no one will call me back or answer my emails or texts to get this handled now. Disappointing on a $60k+ vehicle. Let's move on to the real superstar, Adam Rosepink in finance. He will tell you he "bought down your rate with an extra $1000" using some mystery money that even he can't clearly explain. We had no intention to keep their loan anyways so not a huge deal, but shady nonetheless. I even called up the bank to inquire about this "rate buy down" when getting the pay off info, and it's evident that was all made up. A couple of days later while looking at the contract prior to beginning the refinancing and I noticed a $500 discrepancy, and Adam won't answer the question of where that money is or how he came up with the number. He dodged the question twice in emails where we had also requested he cancels VSA, PPM, and GAP. The GAP he claims transfers during refi's, but the bank and Toyota Financial say otherwise. He also claims he canceled it all as we requested. We heard nothing, followed up over a week later on the status, and he is saying he is still waiting to hear from Toyota. I called Toyota, this was all a bunch of lies as they said there is nothing on their end showing a cancellation was ever initiated. They said this is a pretty common dealership practice to try and drag it out beyond 30 days to get their kickbacks, so we just went ahead and canceled it ourselves. If you are in the market for a new Toyota, stay far away from this dealership. These are your typical dealership crooks. More
DISAPPOINTED to say the least. Classic bait and switch. Beware of the lot lizards as they lie and deceive for their benefit. We did stop yesterday and were misled by Shawn Por Classic bait and switch. Beware of the lot lizards as they lie and deceive for their benefit. We did stop yesterday and were misled by Shawn Portman. We asked to specifically see this 2020 Honda Accord Sport 1.5T with 42,794 miles. He instead showed us a 2019 Honda Civic Sport. We were under the impression it was the Accord and were willing to purchase it until I realized it was a Civic instead. I then asked Shawn to bring out the Accord so we could see them side by side. He came back and told me the Accord had been sold. He then told us the price on the Civic was an additional $1300 dollars for tint and paint protection. The Civic had two tires that had damage on the side walls as well as rim damage. There were also scratches on the paint as well as a dent in the passenger front door. As you can imagine we are very disappointed in our experience. More
Everyone knows that dealer add-ons aren’t mandatory, but this dealership won’t budge on them. I’d recommend going elsewhere. Also Matt, no need to reply saying that the $1295 add-on is listed on the website this dealership won’t budge on them. I’d recommend going elsewhere. Something's very WRONG about Right Toyota! 1. I drove 3 hours to test drive and buy a car (2019 Toyota HIghlander Hybrid 5TDJGRFH0KS076187, Stock 00991296). Jake Schmidt and Joe (Brett) who 1. I drove 3 hours to test drive and buy a car (2019 Toyota HIghlander Hybrid 5TDJGRFH0KS076187, Stock 00991296). Jake Schmidt and Joe (Brett) who assured me it was ready for me...these two NEVER presented themselves once I arrived at the dealership, even though I spoke to Jake all the way during my drive. A young guy named Austin was to close the deal...hmmm, why...? 2. I arrive at dealership, test drove it and ready to write the check. I wasn't born yesterday, the $1295 bogus window tinting/clearcoat dealer add-on is bogus...we all know it. Their list price at first was presented as $43+k instead of the $30,742 as advertised (which is still online at Edmunds.com, by the way) 3. Had to ask 3 times for the detailed list of all the title, taxes and fees for out-the-door price. Their figure amounted to around $4000 extra, which is crazy, so when I gave them MY out-the-door price, Alex had to go talk to someone... 4. Upon his return, it's suddenly: Sorry, Victoria, somebody else test drove it and said yes before you. Really? How? I asked for proof of this even though I never saw those people materialize, nor did anybody come running outside to stop ME from test driving and handling their vehicle (no salesman, nobody). There was never any SOLD or HOLD sign on the car...like other dealerships do. Interesting, right? 5. The more I analyzed the verbal and non-verbal cues of the "players" of the "game" on my 3 hour drive home, the more this has Bait & Switch stench all over it! 6. 1.5 hrs. after my arrival the car was driven off the lot with a temporary tag and "home delivered" (so I was told) because someone had to get their cashier's check before the bank/credit union closed (ok, sure, it's Saturday) and a there's a baby at home, etc. All this is possible and can be true, and if I didn't "win" today, so be it. If the new owner got the smoking deal at $30,742 as advertised and didn't get soaked on their trade (what I was offered for my Highlander was laughable) or crazy-high financing terms, then bravo to him/them. Perhaps, I dodged a bullet. I know I don't like my time wasted, and I can walk away knowing the BEST car is still out there, and I'll find it without any of today's shenanigans. Caveat Emptor, people. Caveat Emptor! More
