I know this is not the dealership fault but unfortunately in today's society maybe some guidelines need to be posted. Common sense is not so common these days. More
Had a great experience with my recent service. Matt Rich does a great job setting expectations fpr how long service will take, and communicating. My experience was very poor I found the process to be Sketchy and unprofessional. I will not recommend anyone ever buy a Toyota due to their dishonest practices. Sketchy and unprofessional. I will not recommend anyone ever buy a Toyota due to their dishonest practices. More
We were notified of a recall on the automatic doors on our minivan. Our experience was very disappointing. When we booked our appointment they told us we must book a minimum of three days in advance to ma our minivan. Our experience was very disappointing. When we booked our appointment they told us we must book a minimum of three days in advance to make sure that the technician had the required parts. No problem, we booked our appointment a week in advance. When my wife showed up for the appointment she was told that it would take up to 2 hours to identify the problem. Then they said that she would need to book another appointment to fix the problem. When I asked my wife to put the service person on the phone with me I explained what they told us before and that we expected based on what they told us, that this was a one day procedure. He immediately became argumentative and said my wife could take a shuttle home or wait the 2 hours but would still have to book another appointment. They then informed us that the recall was voided on our van because it had been altered for handicapped purposes. Disappointed, we accepted that. When my wife told him that the 2 automatic doors and the back automatic door had recently stopped working, he told her he likely knew what was happening. He said it would cost $2,000 per side door, and $1,500 for the back door. That’s a total of $5,500. I told my wife it was too much money and to come on home. When I told a friend of mine the story, they said let’s look on YouTube and see what it says. On YouTube, the exact problem was solved in a couple of minutes with a short procedure involving the automatic door buttons. Glad we didn’t pay the $5,500! In Right Toyota’s defense, we only dealt with one person at the dealership but it sure left a bad taste in our mouth and we will never return. More
