They were not honest and did not provide deals that honda offers and i qualified for. I would never return here. i drove 35 minutes to santan honda and it was worth the drive. No pressure, honest sales, very comfortable. I would recommend santan honda again and tell anyone in scottsdale NOT TO VISIT RIGHT HONDA More

I researched Honda cars on line looking for pricing and availability for a Honda CR-V. Several responses came in from two dealers in my home town and from Right Honda in Scottsdale AZ about 150 miles from availability for a Honda CR-V. Several responses came in from two dealers in my home town and from Right Honda in Scottsdale AZ about 150 miles from my home. Right Honda Sales department called me and convinced me I should travel 150 miles to their dealership for better pricing and trade in value for my car. So off I went. When I got there and test drove the CR-V I realized this car was not for me. I did see another care I like, the Honda Accord Crosstour and felt it work better for my needs. After crunching numbers I realized it was to expensive and I said, " I guess I can't buy a car today as I cannot afford this car". The dealer sales representatives started to talk about a leasing. I was very reluctant and was very much against leasing as I did not understand the process at all. The CR-V I was looking at I was quoted about $350 per month. Sales said it would cost about $600.00 a month for the Crosstour. The sales representatives said I could lease the Crosstour for $350.00 a month and I could afford the car. Still very uncomfortable with the lease I did agree based on what I thought was going to be a fair deal for my trade in and sales price ("internet pricing") of the car. Then I went to the Finance office to close the deal. The $350.00 price was gone, now it was $368.00 and I said no not what I was quoted. The Finance manager told me he could reduce the payment if I would agree to only using 12,000 mile per year instead of 17,000 miles because "never buy extra miles if you plan on trading in the car at the end of the lease". He tore up the contract, went to the sales office and came back with a new one. Now being real confused about what was going on the new contract was $375.08 per month. I'm tired, frustrated and need to get back to Tucson. Looking over the figures and asking questions about all the fees, I questioned the numbers because they just didn't seem to add up. I asked how much the car was and he sidestepped the answer with mumbo jumbo that made no sense to me knowing of course I was not going to understand. Using those terms I was not familiar with he convinced me that everything was in proper order and signed I the contract. All seemed good until I got my first monthly statement. First thing I noticed was the pay off was $32595.11. I was in shock because the car list price was $35595.00. with $8000.00 down payment equity I had in my trade in, doing simple math the balance should have been about $27595. Assuming they were going to give me the same like kind "deal" for buy out of my local market the car should have sold for about $32900.00 as this is what my local dealer is quoting. using the $32900 figure my balance should or could have been about $24900. I took out the lease agreement and started to read more carefully and looking up lease terms. First major problem I discovered was "Gross capitalized Cost" or sale price of car. Sale price was $38,028.43 or $2478.11 up and above MSRP (the sticker price) and $5100 more than what the customary and usual selling price. Now I am very upset and contacted the dealer and now all the leis started. The first lie was he said we lost $2000.00 on my car as he sent it to the auction. As of today 07/05/2010, the date traded in was 06/13/2010 and my trade in is still available for sale on their lot as I called to inquire about it. The sale person said it was a nice car traded in by a snow bird. The next lie was when I asked why my payoff was so high after giving a large down payment he says to me the pay off would include taxes. It is true that taxes would have to be paid but still does not account for massive over charge of the purchased price. Summary of all this is I felt I very much taken advantage of and mislead about prices, fees and conditions of lease. The $8000.00 down I paid all went into the dealers pocket. I lost all my equity. I can appreciated and understand dealers need to make a profit to stay in business and continue to provided goods and services to the community, but to make a huge unreasonable profit is unethical. Yes, I should have know better and demanded a more clear explanation but I "trusted" them to provide a like kind deal or "internet pricing" comparable to the car I originally wanted to buy. Update 07/06/2010 I called Honda Financial Services today and asked them about the lease and they confirmed that the lease was contracted for the sales amount (gross capitalized cost) of $38028.43. They also confirmed that the MSRP was in fact $35550.00. I asked why was there an additional $2500.00 added to the MSRP. Their response was it did not include extras like, accessories or extended warranty which there were NONE. Right Honda not only did not disclose to me what I was paying for the car, when I asked they sidestepped the answer with a bold face lie. Beware of Right Honda of Scottsdale. They are Liars and will take advantage of you. More
The worst dealership experience I have ever had in my life. How many times do you have to tell these people that you want to pay cash before they figure out you dont want some rip off lease? They will life. How many times do you have to tell these people that you want to pay cash before they figure out you dont want some rip off lease? They will do everything in their power to get you to buy the car with the terms that they want. They will argue, lie, and cheat you out of every last dollar if you let them. It took over 8 hours for us to buy our new car, while paying CASH. Absolutely rediculous. I highly recommend that you choose a different dealer. On a positive note, Justice in sales who helped us pick out the vehicle was extremely nice and honest. Advice to him, get a job at a different dealer, you are too good for these cheats. More
If you buy a car from Right Honda you better be prepared to deal with ANYTHING that comes up with the vehicle ALL BY YOUR LONESOME!! They will not help you with ANYTHING after the purchase of a vehicle. I a to deal with ANYTHING that comes up with the vehicle ALL BY YOUR LONESOME!! They will not help you with ANYTHING after the purchase of a vehicle. I actually bought a car here 3 years ago 3/30/2007. The vehicle was totaled in April of 2010 and I have left about 15 (not exaggerating) messages for Tom Bowman and received NO CALL BACK! I finally caved and went into the dealership after 2 weeks of calling him and getting no answer. A gentleman named Ed informed me that Cathy Hall mailed some paper work to the gap insurance company to clear up the mess. The entire reason that the gap insurance has denied my claim is because Right Honda didn't do the paperwork correctly when they sold me the car. In the last 3 days I have left 5 messages for Cathy Hall and (as I'm sure you've already guessed) she has not called me back! LET ME GET THIS RIGHT!?!? YOU SELL ME A BOGUS GAP INSURANCE POLICY, MESS UP THE PAPER WORK AND THEN REFUSE TO TALK TO ME!!!??? More
I mainly dealt with the Fleet and Internet Manager, Rick Morse. He was professional and courteous at all times. He was never too pushy and was willing to negotiate prices with me. I was able to tell him Morse. He was professional and courteous at all times. He was never too pushy and was willing to negotiate prices with me. I was able to tell him an estimate of the amount I was willing to pay and he told me honestly that he wouldn't lose my business. That helped me to better gauge whether it was worth my time to deal with Right Honda. Turns out it was! From the get-go, Rick knew that I am from Tucson and have limited access to Right Honda in Scottsdale, so he offered to deliver the car to me. When I mentioned the delivery charge, Rick decided to give me the delivery free of charge without much pressure from me. And when I finally decided to go with Right Honda, I told Rick "yes" in the morning around 10 AM and by 10 PM that night, I was driving my new car. I am impressed with their speed and professionalism. Even the truckers bringing the car took effort to call me and update me with their progress en route from Scottsdale to Tucson. In fact, Right Honda got the car to me so quickly that I had to rush to activate my car insurance! Lastly, the price we settled on was comparable to the prices I negotiated with dealers in Tucson. And their willingness to deliver the car to me saved me time, gas money, and extra work I might have had to do in traveling up to Scottsdale or Phoenix. As a first-time buyer, I'm glad they respected me and did not try to take advantage of me once I had shown I had done my research. I'm grateful for this very pleasant business experience with Right Honda! More

On December 21 I took my 2004 Honda Element to Right Honda dealership for repair. The auto had a wiring problem. On further diagnosis they said that the ECU was also bad. They would charge me over $100 Honda dealership for repair. The auto had a wiring problem. On further diagnosis they said that the ECU was also bad. They would charge me over $1000 and three days to repair the problem and replace the ECU. Immediately while the conversation was going on with the repair manager, I was approached by one of the salesmen. He was extremely persistent and almost desperate in selling me a new vehicle. The Sales Manager also was very persistent in selling me a used Toyota Sicon which I did not like and he was extremely upset at my refusal. He (sales person) offered me $7000 for the trade-in for a new Honda Element. After about an hour of negotiations He started to write up the contract. While going to finance I noticed that the trade in was now changed to $6000. He said he had to do that because my car was an LX instead of him thinking it was an EX. He quoted the price on an LX. Yeah sure! He could be that stupid! What a liar and a cheat! I was out a $1000. This was about the lowest trade value for that model. I was extremely disappointed, and at the same time fearful that if I cancel out now I would magically find further future problems with my old Element that is now in repair, when I got home and the repairs would escalate to a much higher level. This was fear was based on a previous experience with another dealership in the past. I completed the transaction and paid cash! I removed my belongings from My Element and with all of the paperwork, registration, etc. I could not find the title to the vehicle, which was always with the Element. At the same time the salesman wanted to take my photo and give him five stars for the transaction. Incredible arrogance! This idiot deserves a big Zero in his performance and evaluation. My car purchase experience with Right Honda was one of the worst I have ever encountered in my lifetime of auto purchases. The sales people are desperate and aggressive and will cheat you at all cost. I will never come to this dealership, even if I have no other choice for purchase, warranty or repair. I realize that times are hard right now, but to take advantage of seniors in this way is despicable. More
