Purchased a hummer. Before the vehicle was purchased my husband had the vehicle checked and found out it needed a new air conditioner compressor. Spoke to Tom about it and Tom agreed to the fix air conditi husband had the vehicle checked and found out it needed a new air conditioner compressor. Spoke to Tom about it and Tom agreed to the fix air conditioner compressor. After purchase, we couldn't get in contact with him for a couple of weeks. We left a couple of voicemails. He finally called us back and said they were not fixing the compressor. We feel that we were told anything just to get a sale. Have purchased several used cars from other dealerships and if there was something that needed to be fixed and we agreed that the dealership would fix it, they have always taken care of it. If you agree to satisfy your customer, you should. More
I purchased a 2010 Dodge Bighorn truck at a liquidation sale in Paris Tn. The truck is great and i got a good price. It has an electronic key to unlock and lock the doors and a duplicate will unlock the do sale in Paris Tn. The truck is great and i got a good price. It has an electronic key to unlock and lock the doors and a duplicate will unlock the doors, but will not start the truck. The dealer gave me one and said there was another "somewhere" and would get it to us.We checked on a key and found that the key cost 150.00 dollars and then has to be programed which is an additional cost. When we called about it a week later we were given the run around by the salesman and the head of sales saying there was no other key and they had not said they would get us one. There words were " It is not in writing anywhere on the contract and you signed the papers" Yes I did.. but I was taking the man for his word. My mistake. I just hope that nothing more seriouse happens. Lord only knows what other lies he told to sell the truck. I had read bad reviews on the business on line but always try to give folks the benifit of the doubt. Again, my mistake. They are super friendly when you purchase but take my advice, GET IT IN WRITING. I have to purchase a key and be out the cost myself now. If I lose this key I have no way to start the truck. Needless to say I guard it with my life. I am even worried when I have to let it out of my sight long enough for my husband to take it go somewhere. One key for a "new", to me anyway ,truck is rediculouse. Any dealer that would sell a vehicle with one key and then lie about getting another cant be trusted to stand behind a sale. I know this is a small thing persay..but if you lie about a small thing you will lie about a large one. My husband spoke to the sales manager about it and told him we would tell others how we were treated and he said "You gotta do what ya gotta do." We both work in the public and meet and talk to alot of people. I had already recommended to two others the next sale scheduled for Feb. and they were going to go purchase. But now there not. We could have made Rick Hill some money but now that 150.00 dollar key will cost him several thousand. But....Ya gotta do what ya gotta do. More
