When no one returned my call, I called back and was told they hadn’t had a chance to look at it because they were backed up from the day before. Definitely Coming Back for Service! I recently bought a used Jeep Grand Cherokee from a non-Jeep dealership 2 hours away. After only 2 weeks the Check Engine light came on and as you can I recently bought a used Jeep Grand Cherokee from a non-Jeep dealership 2 hours away. After only 2 weeks the Check Engine light came on and as you can imagine, my heart sank into my chest and I immediately got that sick feeling in my stomach. First, I contacted the dealership but was instructed to, “contact a local Jeep dealership and see what they say. Then, contact your warranty company.” (Thankfully I purchased an additional warranty before leaving this dealership.) To make a long story a little shorter, I contacted Rick Hendrick Jeep in North Charleston and reached Mr. Dennis Davis. Initially I had my reservations over the phone because I am a female with very little knowledge on car mechanics but Mr. Davis made my experience at Rick Hendrick pleasant, painless, and productive. He went above and beyond what I had originally asked him to do and for that reason I felt that a review on my service was the least I could do for such great service. Not only did Mr. Davis run a diagnostic on my Jeep and found the root of my problem, he contacted my warranty company directly, got me in a rental and sent me on my way. The next day my car was fixed. I didn’t need to hassle with my warranty company because Mr. Davis had already taken care of it! Not only did he fixed the root of my initially problem but he took it upon himself to correct not 1, not 2, but 3 manufacture recalls that I didn’t even know I had! All I literally had to do was pay the remaining balance of my deductible and drive off the lot. There is no doubt that I will be a returning customer of Mr. Davis’ at Rick Hendrick in North Charleston! Again, three words to describe my service experience with Mr. Davis: pleasant, painless, and productive. More
