This review is written for the poor service rendered by your dealership. I've personally bought 3 Durango from the Charleston store on Savannah Highway and was always quite happy with the professionalism a your dealership. I've personally bought 3 Durango from the Charleston store on Savannah Highway and was always quite happy with the professionalism and service rendered there. Now my son bought a Durango and took to your location for a electrical issue and after five months has had to take it upon his self to try and repair the vehicle. There is no excuse in the book for this. If this got up the line my next review will be on the Dodge /Chrysler web site. Oh by the way my Dodge Durango has over 350,000 miles on it, but I wouldn't tell anyone it was because of your service. More
Service Department Experience My 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee equipped with air suspension was brought into the service department on Monday November 5th. I'm having problems with my s My 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee equipped with air suspension was brought into the service department on Monday November 5th. I'm having problems with my shifter not enabling drive, instead it stays in neutral and the vehicle can roll. I'm also hearing a loud clucking noise under the front suspension while driving at any speed on uneven pavement. After 3days of holding my car the service center was only able to duplicate the noise and as far as the shifter goes I'm **** out of luck. I was presented a "star case file" which stats the noise my car is making "MAY BE NORMAL CHARACTERISTIC FOR ANY JEEP EQUIPPED WITH AIR SUSPENSION". I completely understand that the service department may not have the resources to help me with my concerns but, however I have a problem with how they handle things. The three days the my Jeep spent in there, no one called me to inform me of the status. I spent hours each day trying to get in touch with Debbie my advisor. It became a joke with the front desk operator because I called so much she knew my voice and name. I ended up having drive up there each day for any update because I couldn't get through the phone lines. In fact the second day I received a text message saying my car was ready for pickup and when I got there Debbie was misinformed and my car was still not ready. The third day I picked up my car and was told they weren't able to help me. I called FCA Group Premium Care to help me solve my problems. They advised me to bring my car back to Rick Hendrick Jeep in North Charleston on my schedule appointment this morning at 8:00am. I showed up promptly at 7:45 and waiting in the parking lot for them to open their doors. At 8:00 when they opened I spoke to one gentleman and explained my situation. He asked "where is your car?" I told him and he responded "well how are suppose to get the info off it?" I'm thinking in my head "try walking"....anyway I disregarded his grumpy attitude and spotted Debbie who was originally working my case. I re-explained what FCA Group advised me to do on my scheduled appointment today. Debbie interrupted me and said "there's nothing we can do, I've already talked to Travis and you car is fine to go". I tried again to tell her I was sent by FCA Group to have my car re-diagnosed and she replied "no one is here to look at transmission problems we are at a very limited staff, your car will just sit here". I said I was ok with that as long as they had a loaner for me but of coarse she said "no one is working that desk and I don't know what time they will be in". Anyway this is my story, I won't ever be using Rick Hendrick Jeep for service no matter how convenient it is for me. Besides their below average communication, xxxxty attitudes, and lack of compassion. There isn't really anyone there that gives a crap. Im not just writing this review based off of 1 experience. I've been here 4 times now and each time is has been a whirlwind of confusion. update: Terrible service department! Super disorganized and rude. No one picks up their phones when transferred to service and no one returns your phone calls. Also it seems to me that THEY HAVE THEIR FACEBOOK REVIEWS SHUT OFF so no one will be able to talk about their experiences. Sketchy judgment calls like that from whoever is in charge I've also witness them telling people they will take parts off another car in the lot to replace a broken or defective part on customers vehicles. So if you purchase a car there it might have been picked apart prior to purchasing due to the service department taking parts off new cars on the lot. I wouldn't trust them and would stay clear of this dealership based on my experience ...read their reviews and educate yourself, trust your instinct and try a more pleasant, knowledgable dealer/service center. I was informed that they shouldn't take parts off new cars and place them on customers cars because each cars VIN indicates what factory the car was made in and depending on that facility the vehicles may or may not have recalls/malfunctions so replacing parts on new cars should always be ordered in if needed that way a serviced vehicle won't have multiple parts on it from multiple facilities/VINs. I hope this review helps people.. More
Beware. I would give a zero or negative points if I could. I cannot wait to hear the Dealership's excuses this time. The service department is a total unorganized and unmitigated disaster to say could. I cannot wait to hear the Dealership's excuses this time. The service department is a total unorganized and unmitigated disaster to say the least. We had three vehicles serviced several times in 2021, and each was worse than the other. Recently, we scheduled an appointment for a 2020 Jeep Gladiator to have a clip replaced. We scheduled the appointment and we asked to confirm that they had all of the parts. I waited for confirmation and took the vehicle into the dealership. I waited hours before they brought the vehicle out and called me over to check out. At that point, they told me that they did not actually have the parts to make the repair. Unbelievable. They were going to order the parts and call me in to get it fixed ASAP. Well, we have heard nothing. Typical lack of follow-up. Worse yet, they serviced my handicap modified Pacifica in late spring 2021 to fix defective steering linkage, after several prior service failures. I waited forever to get the vehicle back as they worked to replace parts and heard excuse after excuse for why it was taking so long. I picked the van up and drove it to and from Ohio only to learn a couple weeks ago, while in Ohio at a Goodyear service center getting new tires and an oil change, that there "were no cabin and air filters in the engine compartment and other engine parts and regulators were missing." To my surprise, Hendrick's "Team" took a bunch of stuff out to gain access for their repairs and never bothered to put it all back together when they returned the car to me. This is despicable. They have no quality control. Hendrick had to know that there were parts laying around the shop that belonged to someone's car. While it would have been embarrassing to call me and tell me "oops, we forgot to put all the parts back in your car," it was the only honest and safe thing to do. More
Had Fiat serviced under warranty, oil change apparently was done, yet shady actions, then placed sticker on window after I was here to pickup serviced car. Employees stare at you as if they are zombies. was done, yet shady actions, then placed sticker on window after I was here to pickup serviced car. Employees stare at you as if they are zombies. Scrap paper used instead of fresh new paper, multiple staples holes can be seen on official papers. They didn't wash or vacuum car with warranty coverage or include with oil change. 1/4 star rating if I could. More
