Sales and Sales Manager were great, finance not so much. Bruce “Almighty” Gibson was the sales associate that worked with me and my wife on purchasing a 2019 Tahoe. He was very knowledgeable and helpful finding the specific model we wanted with all the options and was willing to go the extra mile to find vehicles at any of Rick Hendrick’s locations that matched our requirements and bring them to the Buford store for us to test drive. He followed up regularly and answered all the questions we threw at him. Bruce has the right demeanor and a consultative approach to selling versus the “Boiler Room” model many dealerships use. Kyle was also a rockstar! He was very straight forward with pricing and is very customer service focused. It was refreshing dealing with him in an often frustrating process of negotiating trade in values and out the door pricing for a new vehicle. My only complaint was the interaction with two of the finance employees. Not wanting to throw anyone under the bus, but the two gentlemen I dealt with initially desperately need to take a customer service and sales 101 course. Once Kyle finalized the pricing the third finance person I worked with was great; upfront about the maintenance options- pros and cons of each plan, and provided details and typical scenarios to help me choose the best plan. I was heading to the gym last night in my new 2019 Malibu (2500 miles on the car) when the engine light came on. I'm like "REALLY?"...So I call my closest Chevrolet dealer and Northpoint Chevrolet can't help me because they're going through an ownership change. That made little sense so I called my next closest dealer which was Rick Hendrick Chevrolet.(I'm very familiar with the Rick Hendrick organization because I work for Axalta, his preferred paint!) Anyway, I knew his complex in Charlotte was first class but I had no idea that his winning ways trickle down throughout his organization, which leads me to a wonderful woman I met named YERALIZ GARCIA. She works as a service tech and she literally saved me. I called the service department as my car was sputtering and she answered the phone. It was late. After 6:00 most people are shutting down, hoping not to see another car so they can get home in time. That, I understand. But Yeraliz assured me things would work out and she texted me the address so I could make it to the dealership with the quickest route. It was twenty minutes till 7:00 when I arrived. She was waiting for me and we started the paperwork. She was more than professional but also had that "personal touch" that you really never see that much of today. I told her that I was in a bind because I needed my car to move my daughter into college this weekend. She understood my plight and walked me over to Enterprise to pick up my loaner after she handled all the paperwork to get my vehicle fixed. It was easy, smooth, professional and had the stamp of Rick Hendrick all over my experience. I want to say thank you to YERALIZ GARCIA for being the right person to represent the Rick Hendrick Chevrolet and to convey to me that the Rick Hendrick organization is a first-class operation. I was told the Tahoe was sold and then in about an hour was called back to say it was there. I drove to Buford on July 13th and was greeted by the most generous, kind, professional, and awesome sales person Tyronne Wells. He was the type sales person that anyone would want to invest in. He was able to asst me with every question and concern I had. I do not know what type rewards you give out but he certainly deserves one. I would recommend your company and him as the person to speak to. I drove almost 3 hours but left with my dream Tahoe. More important than that was your awesome service from start to finish. I am a Nursing Director so I know all about customer service and your team exceeded. I hope this gets to Mr. Rick Hendrick and I hope you are able to recognize Tyronne, he really is one of your stars in the company.
