8 Speed automatic transmission issues I was experiencing a shudder in the transmission when driving in 7th and 8th gears. I would also experience a hard engagement when shifting into rever I was experiencing a shudder in the transmission when driving in 7th and 8th gears. I would also experience a hard engagement when shifting into reverse and sometimes into drive. The service technician, Terry, told me that they would drain the fluid, flush the system and refill the transmission with Mobile 1 fluid. That seems to have been the fix as I have no more shudder problems. More
