False advertising/ Bate and switch I was mailed and ad asking me to trade in my car on a new GMC Terrain and they would give me more than the black book value on the purchase of a new T I was mailed and ad asking me to trade in my car on a new GMC Terrain and they would give me more than the black book value on the purchase of a new Terrain and advertised the car for $24000. When I went in to talk to them about the offer, they said I had put over 10,000 miles on the car per year I owned it and therefore the offer was not honored. But I only had 33,000 miles on a three and a half year old car. So I think they said that after learning how many miles I had on the car. and they only offered me a car listed at $29,000. So the deal advertised for $4,000 plus taxes became $12,700. I said I was only interested in the deal advertised and walked out and will not be back since the sales man said it was the marketing dept. who sent the letter out and the sales dept. didn't know anything about it until people stated coming in with the letter. They need to stand by the letter their company sent out and not blame the marketing dept. and try to get out of living up to the terms they offered. I do not know how many people fell for this but I hope no one bought their cars from this corrupt company. More

I was quite pleased with my experience at this dealer I was not pressured or hassled with things I did not want. I saw the car on Auto Trader and drove 120 miles to get it. A 2013 GMC Terrain was what I wanted and that is what I got. All the other dealers I checked locally kept trying to sell me something I did not want and I could not even look around without being bothered.
