I contacted the Rick Hendricks Buick GMC in Duluth Georgia on June 17th 2020, I gave Donny Roberson all the pertinent information that he would need concerning my wife's trade-in, challenged credit, income, etc., like I do with all people who may or may not consume my time, I advised him of my terms and that I did not want to waste my time or his, he got back to me and told me that Rick Hendricks Buick GMC in Duluth was able to provide the vehicle my wife wanted as long as her trade-in was equivalent to what I had estimated it to be (I was not far at all from what they appraised). After the 17th, Donny Roberson called me everyday to see when we were going to bring her vehicle in (mind you my wife and I are first responders so our schedules are non-stop) to be appraised as if that was the final piece they needed to get my wife into the vehicle she wanted, to my consternation when we did finally have time to bring it in today June 28th 2020, Donny Roberson had essentially sold me his fictitious flights of fancy (a.k.a lies) just to get us into the dealership, he had not actually checked my wife's credit as he stated but did what they call a "5 liner" which apparently gives the dealership basic information but still takes points from your credit score, so they needed all the information I had already given Donny roughly ten days prior, after providing the information they needed for a second time, it took them about an hour to reject my wife, which doesn't bother me in the slightest (rejection is a part of life) but what is disturbing however is the fact that had Donny had any moral decency or had he been competent in his field, my family and I wouldn't have ever made the trip to be in the presence of people who care so little about their patrons that they refuse to wear face masks in the middle of a pandemic, to add insult to injury Edward the finance manager thought so little of us that he chose to repudiate my wife obtaining a vehicle by not only unprofessionally doing it in the open were other customers could hear but also by spewing an outlandish figure that was thousands of dollars more than what my wife was upside-down in her vehicle for as an excuse not to move forward with my wife's credentials. Anything lost can be found again except time wasted, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME with Rick Hendricks Buick GMC in Duluth, go to Hennessy Buick GMC, not only do they have superior quality of customer service and professionalism but they are honest and straight forward ( or at least that was our experience). Service after the sale Purchased my vehicle 04/11/2020 and waited to get my tag. As the temporary tag was close to expiring I contact the title clerk at Rick Hendrick GMC an Purchased my vehicle 04/11/2020 and waited to get my tag. As the temporary tag was close to expiring I contact the title clerk at Rick Hendrick GMC and there was a POA that had been missed at closing with a new company processing the tags for them. I am not sure they would have contacted me if I had not contacted them. It has been over 2 months now and I have not received my tag. I realize COVID 19 has been a complication but I am very disappointed that it has been that long getting this taken care of. If the service department does not perform better that that I am sure I will go elsewhere for any service. My wife has stated that she does not want to use them in the future. More
