Would give our sales representative 5 stars. Izayah, our sales representative, was the only good part of our experience at Rick Hendrick Buick GMC in Duluth, GA. That being said, I can start wit Izayah, our sales representative, was the only good part of our experience at Rick Hendrick Buick GMC in Duluth, GA. That being said, I can start with the laundry list of issues we’re currently dealing with on our 2023 Yukon Denali. -We did not receive a copy of our documents from the dealership. -We did not receive a spare key. (Keep in mind that the vehicle is a 2023, and we’re still in the 2022 calendar year). The General Manager of the dealership initially said “it is what it is.” We were finally able to get them to agree to give us a spare key, we would just have to come back at a later date for an appointment. -Less than 2 weeks after we got our vehicle home (‘23 Yukon Denali), the finish on the wheels started to chip off, and there were plastic trim pieces on the wheels that were unscrewed. After investigating the issue further, we discovered that the wheels were actually off of a Sierra truck that Rick Hendrick Buick GMC had “powder coated”. We were told that they were “Factory black Yukon wheels, new for ‘23”, talk about a misrepresentation. After making the dealership aware, I was ensured that I would be receiving a call from the General Manager. Days passed. Never happened. He delegated the task to one of his sales managers the following Monday. The sales manager told me that the only option that the GM had given him was to refinish the wheels on the day that we had our appointment to get the spare key. We refused to accept and were finally able to get them to agree to swap us factory black GMC Yukon Denali wheels, at our appointment the following day. We arrived early at our appointment for the spare key, and were greeted by the service advisor who took our keys, checked us in, and confirmed that we were there for the wheel swap and spare key. -Three hours later, we were still sitting in the waiting room. I approached the service advisor to request the estimated remaining wait time, and was told that if I returned to my seat that he would come find me with the answer. Never happened. I walked back to the service advisors desk, only to be told that they were about to start programming the key. Three hours had passed, I could have swapped all 4 tires faster by myself on the side of the interstate with hand tools. I was told that programming the key would take 10-15 minutes. 30 minutes later the excuse was “the internet and the weather.” Finally, our vehicle pulls up beside the service desk. The service advisor climbs down out of the drivers seat only to say, “I know y’all are in a hurry, I’m gonna let you leave without the key.” One can imagine the level of frustration that my wife and I were already at prior to this comment. After communicating to the service advisor that we were not willing to simply leave without the key that we had driven 3 hours to get, I decided to have them simply “cut” the physical key (not the key fob) to match the original and I would have the key fob programmed elsewhere. A few minutes later the service advisor returned with the spare key in hand. He removed the physical key from the fob, stuck it in the door and turned it, and it worked. He pressed the buttons on each fob, indicating which was the original and which was the new one that hadn’t been programmed. We could not get away from Rick Hendrick Buick GMC fast enough. -Today, 2 days later, while messing with the original (programmed) key fob, I pulled the physical key only to discover that they had not, in fact, cut the key to match. The keys had been switched. In order to get us to leave they lied. -I still have not received a phone call from the GM, I am still attempting to get a spare key for a vehicle that’s newer than the calendar hanging on my refrigerator. I have been given the run around, and heard a staggering amount of excuses and outright lies. My hope is that this review will save at least one person the headache that accompanies dealing with Rick Hendrick Buick GMC. More
