My wife and I have been shopping for a few months and were a bit torn between a CX-5 (new) and a CX-9 used due to considerations around size, economy, and cost. My wife was particular about the color of the CX-9 (Dolphin Gray) so I found one on Auto Trader at Rick Case Mazda in Duluth. Generally Duluth is a bit far from our home in Alpharetta but we had other activities that took us close enough that we thought we would stop in to see and drive the CX-9 to help refine our decision process. When we arrived we were greeted by Ted and he was very helpful with locating the CX-9 and setting up a test drive for us. While Ted was trying to find the Dolphin Gray CX-9 we were interested in (it was in the Service Department) we also found a really nice 2011 CX-7 that was in like new condition, seemed to be a solid value and was a good fit for what we were looking for. Ted brought around the CX-9 and allowed us to take the time we needed to look at, sit in and drive the CX-9 and was very patient with our questions and "shopping". While the CX-9 was a very nice vehicle it is just to big for our daily needs so we shifted our focus to the CX-7 which was a fully loaded Grand Touring edition with very low mileage. We again hit Ted with lots of questions about the car and took an extended test drive to be sure we really liked the car. Ted was very friendly and we never felt pressured with the usual sales stuff, and being in sales myself I know the routine, but Ted gave us the time and information we needed to make an our decision. Once we made our decision to purchase we had to of course negotiate the price and that's when we met Adrian, the Used Car Sales Manager. The greatest think was that Adrian got right to the point on the Rick Case Market Pricing strategy and as a result we were able to get to an agreement on price very quickly. Of course there was a twist related to the keyless entry and ignition (the original remote key fobs were missing) that could have ended the deal but Adrian was quick to understand my position and ordered new key fobs to ensure we received the vehicle as it was advertised. The entire purchase experience was very easy and I felt the Sales Team was working as my partner on the deal. With the economic situation as it was just a few years ago our credit had taken a couple of hits but the Finance Manager (David) was also on our side and worked through his various banks to find us financing that was while pricey was fair for our situation and was simple and flexible enough for us to re-finance in the future without added expense. In the end we have a car we very much enjoy and will certainly get many many years of pleasure and use out of. Thank you to the Rick Case Mazda Team. More
I purchased my car used approximately 6 months ago. At the time of purchase I was told the tires were good and all service needs had been completed and all was up to date. Less than a week later the change oil light comes on. I contacted the dealership and the oil had never been changed before the car was sold to me, so I had to take the car back for an oil change that took nearly 2 hours. After going to a Tires Plus a month ago for an oil change, I was told the tires were dangerously worn. You could see the threads in multiple tires and after asking the technician how tires could go from good to this poor in 6 months, he stated he believed I was sold a car with worn tires. I took it back to Rick Case for them to look at. I had a Noon appt. Nearly an hour and 1/2 later, they finally looked at my car (no work was done). They couldn't provide any documentation at all that any service had been done prior to selling me the car other than they thought they did it. Justin first said 2 of my tires were worn because I had been driving them with insufficient air/tire pressure. My low tire pressure light would have been on and it hadn't. I asked if it was possible that the previous owner may have driven it that way, caused the wear on the tires and then they sold me the care with worn tires. He said "That's Possible." Then he said it was because my alignment was off. They still couldn't provide any documentation that the alignment was good or even checked before selling me the car. I specifically said I didn't expect free tires. All I expected was Rick Case to do right by me (their customer) who had already been told services were done in the past that weren't and work with me and meet me part way. Justin and another man said they'd have to talk to the used car sales manager (I had to call for his name: Adrian Lizescu) and shortly returned to say the used car sales manager won't do anything for you. Sorry. Mr. Lizescu didn't even have the professional decency to come out and talk to me himself. Incredibly rude, unprofessional, AND I was there over 1 hour and 45min during a work day WITH an appointment AND they didn't do anything, but look. Unethical and Untrustworthy. I will tell everyone I know to avoid Rick Case dealerships. Very disappointed! -Angela K More

We've bought three cars from Rick Case. One used and two new. We had Marvin Harvey as our salesperson twice and would highly recommend him. What a wonderful experience! I purchased my New 2013 Mazda 3 on Sunday July 28th. From the moment I walked in until the moment I left I felt like a valued customer. When I arrived at 5:30 on a busy Sunday afternoon the dealership was hopping. I assumed I would get hustled around and then end up leaving empty handed. Ted (who I'd communicated with via phone and email) met me and with a big smile and a warm "hello" advised that the finance team was taking a look at my info and would see if we could work a deal. I have less than perfect credit and I was extremely upside down in my 2008 RX8 trade so my confidence level was low. About 45 minutes after I arrived David (I believe that's his name) in Finance was able to work some financial magic and I found myself approved!! Joe took over from there and we took a spin in my future ride - SOLD. The entire process was quick and painless and took less than 2.5 hours. Some paperwork to sign a few hearty handshakes and I was on the road in "Sparky". I love Mazda but now I also love Rick Case Mazda! Thank you, Guys...I'll see you in 5,000 miles. More

When I arrived, I was greeted by a sales rep, but he did not seem to be very recep I went to Rick Case Mazda interested in the 2014 Mazda 6 Touring. When I arrived, I was greeted by a sales rep, but he did not seem to be very receptive (not even a welcome smile). I asked if price was negotiable and I was told that it was so I test drove the Mazda 6 and was very impressed. I decided to purchase (well, the process) it but to my astonishment, the sales rep did not give us a pleasant time. We weren't even to negotiate a price on the Mazda 6. He also said that no other car dealer would give us a discount either and that if I wasn't willing to pay the "retail price", I should of never even looked into the car. He even said my budget was unreasonable and didn't even work with me. I didn't believe that no Mazda dealer would negotiate a price so I decided to leave. Before I left though, they offered me $500 off the car. They did not even give me the $1000 Mazda Customer Rebate or any incentives (they were not honest at all). The sales rep also said that Rick Case does not offer a "double warranty" on the NEW Mazda 6 when it clearly said so on the Rick Case Automotive website. Overall, it was a terrible experience for me. To my dismay with the terrible customer service, I went to another Mazda dealer-Jim Ellis Mazda. And guess what, they DID negotiate a price with me unlike how the sales rep said that NO Mazda dealer would give discount on a 2014 Mazda 6. My experience at Jim Ellis Mazda of Chamblee was receptive and the sales team was very friendly. I got my Mazda $1000 customer rebate at Jim Ellis and also a customer incentive discount. The Jim Ellis sales rep was way patient and honest with me unlike the Rick Case sales rep. Overall, I will never give my business to Rick Case and I do not recommend them. If you want honesty, reliability, and great customer service, go to another car dealer. More

After a few days, he called to see if I had any questions and offered to set aside time for me to come back and go over anything I was not comfortable with. A couple months after buying car paint started peeling off bumper. It took them a week or more to attempt to fix, which still doesn't look right. Spent countless efforts trying to get reimbursed. 2nd time and last time for light bulb and clip replacement which they replaced light and glued in the light bulb instead of replacing clip. Discovered this when bulb didn't last a year and took it to a different dealership. Now we have to replace the whole $700 piece. More
