I bought my car used from another dealer and Had it for 2 years now. Shane in service has taken great care of me. I don’t use anyone else but him. Or I’ll work with Chris (service manager). The customer serv years now. Shane in service has taken great care of me. I don’t use anyone else but him. Or I’ll work with Chris (service manager). The customer service is even amazing. Shane and the team treats my car like I bought it from them. Walks me through everything and don’t take advantage of me. Will always recommend this service department. More
In December of 2021, due to a car accident, I had to purchase my daughter a car for work and school. Since I previously owned 2 Kias and had good experiences, I did not hesitate to go back and purchase purchase my daughter a car for work and school. Since I previously owned 2 Kias and had good experiences, I did not hesitate to go back and purchase a safe, reliable, used car for my daughter. I purchased a used car for her, a KIA Soul, in faith that it would last her until she finished college (2 years). The car's engine completely stopped working within 2 weeks of purchase and was deemed unrepairable: I had not even received the license plate and tag for it yet! I contacted KIA and was told there was nothing they could do, I was told it is chance you take when purchasing used cars. They tried to work out a deal the "best they could" and put my daughter in another car. I felt I was "stuck" since I was already on the hook for the KIA Soul; once again, in "good faith," I made the decision to put more money in and purchase a "newer" used car with less miles. Once again, within weeks, the car is in the shop with the engine light on. We took it in to have it checked out and was assured that the car was ok. Three weeks ago on her way to a job interview, the car completely stopped working in the middle of 85 and left my daughter stranded. I had the car towed to Rick Case Kia, where it has been....as of today, The car needs almost $2,000 worth of repairs and they are not even sure if that will fix the problem. They have offered to pay $200 towards the repairs...a joke since I have only had the car for about 8 weeks, three of which it has been in the shop. They even called to ask me if I wanted an oil change, on my dime of course! When I asked about a loaner car for my daughter to get to school and work, I was told they will not be able to provide one, but that I am welcome to rent one, once again, on my dime since I was told they will not cover it; I was told that I might get reimbursement if the GM approves it.... I am very disappointed and infuriated with the way this situation has been handled. All I have done since going to make this purchase is to literally throw money away. I went in to buy a safe and used car from a "reputable" dealership and ended up with two used cars that turned out to be junkers. I know we all take chances when buying used cars, but you don't expect issues to arise before you even make the first car payment.... I considered myself a loyal KIA customer having bought 5 cars from them since 2014....but no more....Long story short, DO NOT PURCHASE ANY USED CARS FROM RICK CASE KIA!!!! More
