These people are such criminals that I had to call the police out to the dealership to get them to pay the tax The worst buying experience of my life. These people are such criminals that I had to call the police out to the dealership to get them to pay the taxes and fees for the car we bought from them. I had 2 different people give me fake phone numbers during the month plus it took to get our car registered. Every possible aspect of this dealership is designed to scam the customer. My wife had to drive 3 hours after work one day to sign a second set of paperwork and when she got the the salesman ran and hid from her as soon as he saw her. Avoid these scammers like the plague. They barely even try and hide their scams from you. The most incompetent set of people were put together to work at this place. They are great until you sign the paperwork, then you are screwed! More
Excellent Service from Andrew Aycock I need a check-up on my 2013 Kia Sorento today before several travels in the next few weeks. Andrew Aycock was my Service Adviser. Mr. Aycock came and I need a check-up on my 2013 Kia Sorento today before several travels in the next few weeks. Andrew Aycock was my Service Adviser. Mr. Aycock came and met me before I got out of the car and asked what he could do for me. He understood exactly what I needed the service dept. to do and quickly had recommendations for my needs. The service dept found several items that needed attention and offered to change the oil, oil filter, gasket plug for a price that was much less than what I could do on my own, with a discount that made it even less; saving me time and $$. I found Mr. Aycock to be clear, thorough, and kind. While I was waiting, I saw him connecting with some kids that were in the waiting room, with their grand-mom. Andrew ended up getting a popcorn machine running, showing the children how it worked and, of course, gave the children popcorn, helping the grand-mom, well, manage the very well mannered children. Back to my visit. There was a lot that was performed on my vehicle today and Andrew let me know that the timing chain would need to be replaced in ~5k miles, along with the cost and approximate time required. Andrew did an excellent job making sure that my vehicle was checked and ready for the next few weeks of travel at an great price. I have always been treated with respect and kindness every time I come to Rick Case Kia. They are thorough and fair with what they do. All of the Service Advisors are excellent. I just want to make sure when I return that Mr. Aycock is there. More
First Courtesy Maintenance And Electrical System Issues I purchased a 2019 Kia Sportage in November 2018 and had just hit 5K miles for the first service Jun 2019. During the first 5K miles we had been exper I purchased a 2019 Kia Sportage in November 2018 and had just hit 5K miles for the first service Jun 2019. During the first 5K miles we had been experiencing some issues with electronic system, 1st the Head Unit would randomly popup a message "You are low on gas, would you like for us to find nearby gas stations", this was with 1/2 to full tank of gas. 2nd the front parking assist sensors would randomly no register, to get the sensors to register in park assist or collision detection when at a complete stop we would put the car in reverse and back in drive and the sensors would then register and work. I asked the services tech at Rick Case Service Center to have a look at the issues and left my car for the day. When I called to check on the status of the car 6 hours later the stated it was still in service and that the technician was driving the car around to diagnose the sensor issues but could find no issues at all and the car would be ready in 25 min. I went to pickup the card and at the time of dropping it off the same for picking it up the wait time was lengthy, I understand busy but only one employee helping customers could be addressed. After getting the car and doing my walk around I noticed that the milage was EXACTLY the same as when I dropped it off, this is even noted on paper work. This raises a question of did they actually do a diagnostics service and test drive on the electrical at all. Remember the technician stated that they were "driving" the car around to diagnose the issues. So I take a few things from this experience with Rick Case 1- They are not honest and actually did not do any test driving the car to diagnose the issue, this cannot be argued if the milage was EXACTLY the same and 2- They actually did not even attempt to check the issues stated and most likely did not even pull the car in for an oil change until I call 25 min prior to picking up the vehicle. Now I am left with can I trust Rick Case at all and did they change my oil and filters, I will out of lack of trust and caution take the car to another service center and have the service work done again. After my first experience with the service department I will not revisit Rick Case and will find another dealership that can honor my 20yr 200K mile warranty and continued services on the vehicle. I understand electronics, I understand that intermittent issues are hard to diagnose but to tell me you are test driving the car only to find you did not (unless you have a magical way of preventing milage increase during test drives) is my issue. I know that this will be an ongoing issue for a new 35K automobile and most likely will result in never being fixed and or traded for another vehicle sooner than later wile the milage is extremely low. For this reason I can only give this dealership a 1 star rating review below. More
