Purchased a perferred Hyundai Azura used auto in March. I had an electricial problem in March. They said something in the lighter caused it to pop a fuse. Then in July the radio went out. The dealer I had an electricial problem in March. They said something in the lighter caused it to pop a fuse. Then in July the radio went out. The dealer reviewed and said it was the wiring hareness, they re-examined and said it was the amp. This was after over 1 week of having the car. This was denied by warranty even though it happened originially with 30 days of purchase. They have refused to repair, NOW SAYING, radios are only 3 years, 36,000 miles. Well, when I purchased the Hyundai salesman said the car had a 100,000 mile warranty. Never was it broken out as drive train, etc. until I had a probem. And when it was just the fuse, an inexpensive repair, they fixed, it was electricial. Now that it is a costly repair, they deny. More

My Daughter and her grandmother bought a 2007 hyundia elantra with 54000 mi from rick case hyundia in plantation. I was out of town at the time for if I was with them I would have not let her by an old h elantra with 54000 mi from rick case hyundia in plantation. I was out of town at the time for if I was with them I would have not let her by an old hyundia for the same price of a new one. However that being said my real problem is with the pressured sale of a $3000 extended warrente witch did not cover a riped CV axle boot 6 weeks later when she took it in for the first promised free oil change witch cost her $35.00. After speeking to the service writer and manager, and then the only salesman who would talk to us because we wern't buying another car the answer I recived was don't know what to tell you. It seems the warrentee does not cover CV axles. So being a mechanic with my own shop in broward county {licenesed through Florida consumer affairs]I removed the axle and had my axle vender replace both boots on the faulty axle. It took me 1 hour labor. and the boots coust $30.00. O and did I mention the salesmen who sold this deal with all his promises no longer works for the dealership what A supprise! Being in the indistry in Florida for over 20 years and knowing a little about math it seems to me that it would be wiser to eat the labor & the $30.00 then to piss off a whole family of customers not to mention all their freinds who will definetly hear about this fiasco.
